What should I wear to Sea World?
As an avid Sea world goer (I live close by and have season passes) I've found that SHORTS are the way to go. if you think you might chafe, then put lotion on. Flip flops are great, as long as they're comfortable. You can take them off for Kraken and put them on the other side of the gate. For Atlantis, just wear them, you'll get wet, but there really isn't anywhere to stash them. You'll be doing a LOT of walking. Wear a tank top or tee-shirt, and don't forget sunscreen! A hat is also advisable, or glasses. I recommend you try to see all the shows, they're amazing! And if you want to feed the dolphins, make sure that's the first place you go. They feed at 10am. I love going to get pearls from the divers, its exciting every time, and its only 15 dollars and you get your own pearl! The motion simulator is cool, and DEFINITELY check out the polar area (its where the motion simulator is) the polar bears might be awake, and the walrus' might be doing their "exercise" where they swim right up to the glass, do a back flip and go swim around. But as I said, try to see everything. You can go on their website and download a map, and show times to help plan your day better. Have fun!
How many pairs of shoes should a 13 year old have?
Whatever you can like and can afford. I've been spoiled ALL my life (LITERALLY), so I cannot related to your problem totally. But don't feel bad. Even with being spoiled, i got one good pair of shoes to wear for an entire school year until... i think, 7th grade. Then my mom bought me out of style and cheap name-bran shoes when my other pair of shoes got worn out. And trust me, since 2005 leading up to 2007, i did not complain a lot when i had to wear them until my mom got the money. Just time to time. But, one consequence when you're spoiled for a WHOLE 14 years, when you're told no, you throw a huge fit because you didn't get want you want when you want it. And I'm 16, and i still get real angry when I'm told no. I'm like, 'WHY?'
Question for high school/jr high guys: Do you ever wear flip flops to school or go to school without socks?
Looking at dirty feet - except for places like swimming pool - is gross. After all, the purpose of socks is to keep your feet clean - who wants to see someones feet after they've been going around without socks all day ?? Anyway, flip-flops aren't allowed at our school, or sandals. Sneaks or penny-loafers without socks usually don't get you in trouble......you just say you've got no-show socks. ADDED: From all the Thumbsdowns, apparently hygiene isn't a priority here. I lived in the South for a while - and in that area was surprised to see so many people wearing cowboy boots - even with shorts. So I asked and they said it was to keep the sand fleas and ticks off their feet. And some want to go around without socks? Gross.
I have swimming in PE. What things should I bring? 10 points!?
Oh boy, i had this last month/ makeup de-frizzer stuff for your hair towell cheer shorts to wear out to the pool goggles flip flops deoderant hair ties and bobby pins tampons DO NOT BRING swim cap (nerdy)
How many pairs of shoes do you currently have?
I have almost more than ten pairs of shoes, matching for different social events and gatherings. I always had a fetish for new and sports shoes. My inclination was such that I often used to complain to my Dad when I was denied for the purchase of some shoes from the market I had taken a liking for. To which he would simply smile and tell me some very important things - things that I understand now, things that would change one's perspective of consumerism, things of being content and expressing gratitude for God’s blessings, things that would make your value system even stronger, and eventually things that would build your character.Though he used to politely refuse as I already had too many shoes then, he used to say, “you know son, I used to complain for shoes till I saw a man without legs”. And trust me, this changed my outlook towards my habit of or even better, my complaining attitude. Discontentment is the root cause of all evil and having a complaining attitude makes it even worse.So guys do wear shoes and do add new ones to your collections but when you wear it in your full awareness and with a sense of gratitude, then it becomes an element of joy forever !
Girls, how many pairs of leggings do you have?
ok, girls, just out of curiosity how many pairs of leggings do u own, i'm like so bored right now..... i personally love wearing leggings, and like i wear leggings pretty much everyday to school. i have like, idk maybe like 30-40 pairs.
Is it weird to shower with your socks on?
It is very weird if you wear them on your feet.It’s not weird at all if you like to shower with your socks on your hands. If you also put a sock on your head, then it’s even less weird than having them on your hands.The least weird of all is to walk around in a portable shower with socks on your hands, feet and on your head.Showering with socks on your hands makes the most sense from a washing up stand point. If you get a good lather going on your socks, then people from all over the shower can see your washing action. Wearing white socks is best for this. Remember, when washing up, start from the top and work your way down. If you play music while you are showering it’s a lot more fun.I like to set up a nice shower in the town square. Turn on some loud music and just shower and shower. This is very normal in Europe, because in Europe, EVERYONE showers with their socks on (it’s required in all swimming pools) and it’s very weird not to. Besides your socks you also have to be naked, which is fun too.Europeans are wild and they sure know how to get their shower on. So go ahead, get those socks soaped up and have yourself a fun time knowing that you will be the only normal one out there.
