How Much Do I Have To Pay For A Used Gta V. And Yes Gamestop Is Already Selling The Pre Owned Gta

How many preowned games does EB Games buy, and how much does it sell them for?

Generally, the number of games varies widely from location to location. If you get more trades, you tend to get more games. Now, about the pricing of each game. There are two vitally important things to realize here:Each game is priced based on the year it came out, nothing more.EB Games employees do not have any control over pricing - at all. Here's how it looks from our end when you give some games to trade. We open the case and check the disk for scratching (if it is scratched beyond usability, a refurbish fee will be deducted from the amount you get for that game - I believe it is around $2 CAD).Next, we close the game and scan it through our system. The system tells us how much it's worth, and let me tell you, unless your game came out in the last 6 months, it's not going to be a lot.Once all the games have been scanned, we tell you your total. There are specific restrictions - for example, some sports games that are older than two years are not taken, nor games that would cost more to refurbish than they are worth. Also, I can't speak for all locations, but many locations don't take PC titles as trades anymore. My recommendation? Every few months, there is a Trade More Get More Promotion. Essentially, instead of basing prices off each individual game, the company says “Trade 5 Games and Get ____ Store Credit”.A much better deal, in my experience, especially if your games are older. Also, those Edge cards we pester you to sign up for? At least get the free one - I believe you can get a 10% trade in bonus on your first trade.Consoles are a whole 'nother problem entirely. Generally, colour doesn't matter (yes, even if it is the “rare” skin for the console). The only thing the system seemed to care about was hard drive space. The exact amount varies widely from console to console.Your estimation of 20% is actually a bit low, however, it depends on the console. For example, Xbox 360 trades were very common, meaning these consoles traded for less, regardless of their actual worth.Generally I think you'd be surprised to know that the range for the newer consoles (Xbox One and PlayStation 4) ranged anywhere from 25-45% when they first came out as trades.I hope this helps, happy gaming!

How does Pre-Ordering at Game-Stop work?

I want to Pre-Order GTA V special edition . Can I pay the full price of the game when I Pre-Order it because i have a very hard time holding on to money. And is the receipt the only way of proving that i Pre-Ordered it because i have a receipt that is like 4 months old and it has already faded away. My last question is do I have to wait in line at midnight launch if i already payed for it or can I just pick it up and go. My cuzin said that the GTA 4 midnight release was packed and he waited a long time (he did not Pre-Order)

Can you cancel a gamestop preorder and get your money back?

short answer: Yes, you can

my experience/ long story:

I pre-ordered the standard edition in July, and after some thought, I decided I wanted to cancel it so I could get the Special Edition from Amazon instead (Gamestop was sold out of the SE at the time). So I went to Gamestop, they gave me a full refund of what I paid for the original pre-order ($67). After a few weeks I decided paying an extra $40 for shipping/tax to Amazon wasn't worth it, so I re-pre-ordered from Gamestop again just last week. No problems at all.

Can I return a new game at GameStop?

I bought gta v for 40$ in December. I was waiting to open until I passed San Andreas. Now that I beat it, I decided to give up video games. Is there anyway I can get my money back?

Why would you use Steam instead of buying a real disk?

This is completely from an Indian perspective. I've been having a steam account for quite a while and just like you I was apprehensive before buying it but right now, I am very happy and satisfied. Here are a few reasons:I get to connect with like-minded peopleI have lots of friends but hardly any of them are gamers. So, I am always on the lookout for connecting with people who play/like the same games that I do. And you can't find such people on social media or in your university or at work. Steam becomes a platform for me to connect with such people. The steam forums then become a place to discuss on issues and game techniques and I don't need to go to any other place like IGN or Gamespy. You don't have to worry about losing your disc or damaging it.A lot of other answers have already mentioned this. As everything is on the cloud, you can just download it whenever you want. When I have steam, I have one less thing to worry about when I have to take a local train during peak hours in Mumbai. I would prefer to be more worried about preserving my cellphone and wallet alone. You get to play free exclusive demosAs steam users, you often get the opportunity to play latest games as demo versions and this is a whole lot of fun. You can play the game and figure out whether to spend money on it or not. Yes, you can know about demos of games from other sources too but with steam, you don't have to go looking for it. You log in and you get to know which games are available as demos for a limited period.Cheaper GamesDiscounts. Of course.Steam has great holiday offers and you can get games at very good prices during the holiday season and sometimes even if you pre-book them.I bought Counter Strike 1.6 for 4.99 USD. The usual retail prices in 9.99 USD.Counter Strike isn't a very expensive game, but still that is a straight 50 percent discount. You can resell the accountsFor some reason, you have decided to sell your games. Your girlfriend doesn't like you playing games. Your boyfriend might get depressed if you beat him.Having physical hard disk reduces the value of the games. But with steam you can just sell the whole account with all games in it. You can pretty much get the same value for it as the retail price of the games. A few people I know have already done this. There is a downside here that you may not be able to sell just one game and you would have to give up on your account completely. But still, you pretty much get a very good return on investment.

Can I buy a game in GameStop and play it and then return it?

I think what this question is asking is if GameStop can be used to essentially rent a game for free. The answer is technically yes GameStop's policies do allow themselves to be misused in that fashion. Policy-wise there's nothing to stop someone from buying a pre-owned console game playing at for 7 Days returning it and swapping it out for another and doing the same thing indefinitely. But if the store notices you doing that they will cut you off. How long they're willing to put up with it depends on the individual manager in question, but eventually they will stop allowing you to do returns at all even if something actually does go wrong with the game. And employees at different stores talk to each other and are often personal acquaintances. So if one store has a problem customer such as you if you try and do this chances are all the GameStops in that area will know about it not just the store you shop at. The company itself also tracks returns and it's possible the registers themselves might not allow you to make returns after a certain point. On top of that if you believe in reincarnation then chances are you're building up a whole bunch of negative Karma that you'll have to pay for later on down the road. It would be a shame wouldn't it if you had to come back as a cockroach because you couldn't resist abusing GameStop's policies. But yes if that's what you meant it is possible.

Why do people buy digital games on consoles?

especially on PS4 or Xbox One, you can almost always find the game cheaper used on a disc. even if you live out in a rural area, some online sites like Walmart sells used games online.

i only download digital games on Xbox One if it's free. otherwise, I always but them on disc new or used for resale / trade in value.

especially if it's an older 360 game that works on xbox one via backwards compatibility, i will buy used if it's not a games with gold and almost always get them under $10 at various stores near me.

is it purely for the convenience of downloading digital and not the effort of driving to a local store and checking out prices there?

do you buy disc or digital?

Can I return a game I bought from Target to Gamestop?

You can get store credit at a low price because targets prices are higher than game stop. Good luck
