Rehoming fee of 700$ For a puppy without papers?
So this is my first time buying a dog & I was planning on buying a full breed Siberian husky puppy and she's up to date on her shots but doesn't have papers. The breeders said they decided not to do that because too much paperwork/money. I figured 700$ for a full breed husky is good. Are papers super necessary?

I'm not looking for one..just trying to decide how much to sell mine for..they are full blooded labrador retrievers. the mother has a sweet disposition as do the puppies. I dont need any tips on spaying my dog, and or tips on dogs from shelters. B/c I've seen the dogs from shelters..sickly looking. I wouldnt get one from there if it was the last dog on earth! and as to spaying..that isnt going to happen as I plan on getting rid of the mother as well, I just cant keep her anymore, but feel she shouldnt be spayed, though I think some of the bitches on this site that run their mouths sure should be. Selling my puppies without papers?
Puppies should never be 'given away'. Paying just something shows commitment in today's throw-away society. Easy come and easy go and all that. However, I do hope you choose the homes these puppies will be going to carefully. This is not a combination to be taken lightly and I don't think (although others may know more than I do about this sort of pup) would be suitable for your average family with small children. And put neutering into your contract - if you like offer a rebate on production of a neuter certificate from a vet!
How can you register a dog without papers (AKC)?
You can’t do it. Both of the parents of the dog have to have full registration for the dog to get limited or full registration. If one or both of the dogs bred has limited or no registration, the dog can’t be registered. The breeder does not have to give full registration or limited if they don’t want to although, since many people think that the AKC is a very good organization, they could raise the prices a lot if they give registration and/or say AKC inspected and it would be unlikely that they would not jump on the opportunity to raise the prices for the pups. The breeder has to give the registration.It really doesn’t mean much. The registration basically just a piece of paper and doesn’t mean that you have a good dog. It means nothing for the health of the dog or anything else. People have gotten dogs from kennels “inspected by the AKC” and were registered who had health issues and/or have been neglected. The AKC only has nine people throughout America who “inspect” kennels. That is not nearly enough to cover all of America.When it comes to having a dog, registration doesn’t really matter. Look for a breeder who is happy to show you the area the dogs are raised in, will let you meet the parents, and so on. One thing to remember is that not all breeders have both the mom and dad of the pups. They may have one or the other. The only time registration is important is when you want to do all the dog shows the AKC is involved with.
