Where does the money for the iraq war come from?

They borrow the money from whoever will lend it to them.
Most of the money comes from China [Those pesky communists]
One day your notes will come due.
When China say's "we want you to pay back the money you owe"
That's when you'll know what an economic crisis looks like.
The USA may even have to [shock,horror] nationalise the bank's and privately owned property like they did in Russia,Cuba etc etc.

Why would Saddam Hussein want control of Kuwait?

He wanted to control most of it's oil resources to pay off it's debt from the Iraq-Iran War. Kuwait financed Iraq in the 1980s and Kuwait demand it's money back. Saddam realized he didn't have all of his own money to pay the debt back so he decided to invaded the country to steal the oil and it's riches there and annexed Kuwait as part of Iraq.
