How Much To Pay For A Equiped 26

How much do dealers pay for cars - for real?

Are you out of your mind? 10K for a 20K car? You have to be kidding me.

Hold back is about 1-2% of invoice on a car. SO, if you the invoice is 20K, ACTUAL cost is ~~ 200-400 less than that.

How do I know?? Well, that's how I get paid, and trust me...NO ONE fu(ks with my money.

18+ years in the car business.

EDIT:
You keep saying "from what I've heard"...well you heard wrong. Trust me on this man. I know EXACTLY what we paid for the cars I sell. AND, the managers at my dealership know no more than I do.

How much does the United States Army pay, per unit, for the M-4 rifle?

I paid around $1000.00 for the Colt mil-spec semi-auto version of the M4 rifle (Marked “M4” by Colt and not “6920” or any other marking, just “M4”). It’s definitely a semi-auto like my other AR15 derivatives, purchased over the counter at a “Big Box Store” on Black Friday several years ago. Since that time the price has dropped even more, I’m told. This rifle is the same as the full-auto Colts with the exception that it CANNOT be made to fire full auto, not even with full-auto parts installed. One pull, one shot. I mention this because there is a misconception fostered by the media, liars, and the ignorant (but I repeat myself) that these rifles can be easily made into full-auto weapons. As Ronald Reagan said, liberals know so much that simply isnt so.So, $1000.00 for a civilian rifle that was in impossibly high demand at the time. For a long-term high-number military rifle contract I cannot imagine that the price would be any more than that, even in full auto, (since it doesnt cost any more to make a full-auto).That said, there are cheaper mock-ups of the AR15 rifles available made by more companies than you could shake a stick at… many do not manufacture to “mil-spec” (military Specifications) of parts quality and interchangability.

How much should I pay a babysitter in San Francisco?

Thank you for the A2A. It has literally been years since I’ve babysat (2008) or needed a paid sitter (usually the grandparents watch Kaiti). Ten years ago, I made between $12–15/ hr for one or two kids. From what I’ve seen on “Urban Sitter,” on the Peninsula/ San Francisco, it’s anywhere from $18 an hour for a high school aged sitter (or college student) with limited experience and/or no CPR/ First Aid certification, up to $26/ hr for an older more experienced, educated sitter fully equipped (valid CPR/First Aid certifications). I’m not entirely sure if/ how much more you’d pay if you needed a sitter for two children, instead of just one.Bottom line, it’s a small fortune for the privilege of going out on a date, running errands, etc., without taking the kids along. But if/when you find a sitter whom your kids love and you trust, it’s an expense well worth it.

How much do you pay in USD for public transportation in your country/city?

I have lived in two cities in the US.1) Cincinnati, Ohio - Served by SORTA (Metro)$1.75 Within City of Cincinnati (Zone 1)$2.65 Hamilton County, outside City limits, plus Rt. 23X (Zone 2)$3.00 Harrison, Ohio (52X)$3.50 Butler County (Zone 4)$3.75 Clermont County (Rts. 28, 29X, 82X)$4.25 Warren County (Zone 5, Rts. 71X, 71)50 cents Rt. 85 Riverfront parking shuttleHere is the system map.2) Redlands, CA - served by OmnitransRegular fare is $1.75(Here is my wife and baby getting on the bus). Here is the system map.I have found that the public transportation fare in the US cities is a flat rate and does not vary with distance. Whether you get down at the next stop or the last stop, the ticket fare is same. I believe there are two reasons for that.1) To keep things simple, to not create controversy between drivers and riders.2) Unlike buses in India, there is no ticket conductor in US buses. The fare is collected through a box next to the bus driver. (Labor is very expensive in the US and hiring another person would double the cost for the government to provide public transportation). Thus if passengers had to pay different fares, it would be too much for the driver to deal with single-handedly, and would slow down the route too much.By comparison, back in Gwalior, India, I used to pay by distance. It was a privately owned company. Because public transportation is government-run and very highly regulated here in the US, the buses are required to have wheelchair access. All are equipped with air conditioning, and most are also equipped with bike racks.

Should I buy 26" NEXT 21-Speed Aluminum Mountain Ridge Men's Bike?

Another Wal Mart bike shaped object made by Dyna Craft....buy it, ride it and then watch it fall apart on you almost instantly. These are called "throw away" bikes and one size does NOT fit all. Since this is your first one, you will have a mountain bike introduction 101 as to why you should NEVER buy a bike from a dept store. The "full suspension" on these things is NOT to make the ride more comfortable, it is designed to keep the wheels on the ground as much as possible the only problem here is these things are heavy (40 lbs) and don't need a rear shock to do that....the rear suspension is highly inefficient and does NOT work and any off road use on one of these is NOT recommended whatsoever! Use this bike at your own risk! If you spend less than $1000 on a "full suspension" bike then you get what you pay for! Would you put a Ferrari engine into a Mazda- of course you wouldn't so why would you pay $200 for a bike like this? You will soon spend more than you paid for this bike in repairs and Wal Mart cannot do repairs. buy anything else from your local BIKE shop at the $300 and up range for a decent entry level hardtail WITH a service plan if you want something dependable!

Payroll: Why do companies pay employees 24 payments a year vs. 26?

Thank you so much for posting this question. :) I'm the co-founder of Gusto (formerly ZenPayroll), and compensating people is something we really care about. In fact, we believe that people deserve to be paid for their contributions as frequently as possible. The main thing to remember is that you need to pay your team on a regular cycle to abide by state and federal laws. There are a few states that have regulations regarding how frequently you pay your employees, so be sure to check with your state’s labor office for more details. Most states prefer you to be overly frequent, so keep that in mind. We work with many companies who run payroll weekly so they can take better care of their hourly employees. Here’s a quick guide that explains each type:Bi-weekly (26-27 payments)- Better for hourly employees, since the time period never changes. Also, overtime is easier to calculate.- Can be more expensive, depending on the payroll service you use.- Can also take more time, but only if you’re running payroll manually.Semi-monthly (24 payments)- Better for salaried employees, since they’re paid the same amount each pay cycle.- Accountants run reports monthly, so semi-monthly is a bit easier for them to deal with.- Benefit premiums are slightly easier to calculate, since they’re due monthly. My colleague (and the CEO of Gusto), Joshua Reeves, also wrote a piece in Entrepreneur about this very topic. Take a look and let us know if you have any other questions!

Would the military pay for cosmetic surgery for a spouse?

The military will only pay for one cosmetic surgery for an active duty person (and I'm sorry..but for the crap, low pay and sub-standard living..I think we active duty folks deserve something extra..we pay as much in taxes as everyone else..so technically, we'd be paying for our own surgeries!) and even for active duty, it's not free. We still have to pay for the actual implants.
Unfortunately, in your friend's case (and yours), the cheaper rate doesn't extend to a spouse. After doing my homework before my surgery, I decided that I was better off finding a civilian doctor to do it. The cheaper rate comes at a cost...a long waiting list and more often than not, shabby work.
Good luck though!
: )
Edit--
YES YOU CAN GET ELECTIVE SURGERIES THROUGH THE MILITARY!! THAT IS NOT WHAT SHE'S ASKING..SHE'S ASKING ABOUT SPOUSES GETTING THEM..
But with the war right now, SPOUSES can't get elective surgeries and the waiting list for active duty breast augmentation is maxed at out 2 years...I just went through this whole issue within the last 6 months..personally.

What is the cheapest you can buy a seaworthy sailboat for?

Let me tell you my story of sailing on the cheap. I bought my first boat in 1999. She was a wooden sailing dory, 16′, with a nice sloop rig on her. I purchased the boat for $450, along with it’s trailer. I did a huge sanding and painting project on her as she needed it badly. Once she was ship shape, we hit the local lakes in Fremont. Soon, I was taking her out in the bay (not the slot, however). A few years later I was ready to move up to a keel boat in the 30′ range. A boat of this size in SF can easily cost $10k per year to operate and maintain. I am a frugal guy and did not see myself spending that much cash on an annual basis. I decide to see if I could find some friends to share the cost of ownership. I quickly found 2 friends that wanted to put together a partnership. We found a great boat in short order for $16,500. She was a 1981 Newport 30. Once we paid the initial price, we have been sailing the San Francisco Bay for $3 per day per person. We now have 6 partners and we all sail as much or as little as we want. There are times when we have to kick in extra $$ for big repairs or projects. It’s worked well for the last 17 years! I just ended my partnership to purchase a larger boat for a year long adventure to Australia!! Don’t even ask me what that is going to cost. However, it is a journey that I have been dreaming about for 30 years!
