How Much Would This Damage Cost To Be Fixed At A Body Shop 2010 Kia Soul

How much will it cost to fix this car door?

i would replace the door, probably the cheapest as well as best way to fix that. then how much that replacement door costs depends on whether you can find a replacment from an scrapping facility or new and if you find one from a wreck with that door intact it again depends if you have to or want to do a paint job. some let it be and others paint the replacement part and again others are lucky enough to find a replacment with the same color. last but not least there are often third party parts which come much cheaper than original parts while the quality is then often mediocre or at least less.Like reading my stuff? How much does it cost to fix a scratched bumper?

It really depends on the level of damage that has been done to the Base Coat (color layer) of the paint. It’s a Plastic Bumper… I’d clean it first, with soap & water, then probably use a polishing compound to remove any surface-scuff that has embedded into the clear-coat. Lightly sanding with some Scotch-Brite Pad to cut-down the clear-coat you’d be able to see if the Base Coat has been affected. Glazing Putty to fill any imperfections; prep sanding once dry, a few lite coats of matching color paint (masking-off, to prevent over-spray), more polishing, then clear-coat over the repaired area & blending with old paint surface.I would say 4 Hours of Labor/Waiting Time, $70 in Materials & an attention to detail is all it takes.Unfortunately, the vehicle owner will contact their insurance carrier & your Insurance Carrier will be made to pay whatever it is the Vehicle Owner Wants, regarding Repair, as it falls under Collision & You left an admission of guilt. Otherwise it would have fallen under Comprehensive Coverage & wouldn’t affect your Insurance Rates. When going through an Insurance Estimator, it could cost you anywhere from $500–$1200, instead of the Repair Cost I quoted above.

Is it worth to buy a 2010 Kia Soul with a Salvage Title?

these guys dont know enough about this to be comenting. ive been buying and selling salvage vehicles for over 10 yrs. the salvage depends on the insurance company. every insurance company is different. has nothing to do with % of damage. could be that the adjuster just doesnt want to deal with it so he stamps it salvage. who knows. % of damage is a myth. just have it checked out by a body shop. they can tell you if the damage was like an accident. couldve been a bent fender. ive seen it before.. ive seen cars demolished by trains and have good titles..
why wont the dealer tell you what was wrong with it?
it couldve been a theft where there was no damage.. or a flood, flood could be up to hubcaps. if it was under it wouldnt run. it could be anything. most likely a theft if its that new. no matter how good they clean it you can still smell the musty smell if it was a flood. i think you could get them talked down to a better deal than that also. if they are selling it for $12k.they only paid $6k for it.. and a salvage isnt inly worth 50%, the other guy has no idea either. you can get a loan for a salvage for 75% of its value, so obviously he is wrong... better than that if you have good credit. so that is why this place is selling it for about $12k.. type in the vin# in google, it might tell you which auction they got it from and what the damage was.

How much would it cost to repair this Kia Forte Koup (approx)?

To even give you a ballpark estimate would require pricing out all of those components. Prices vary greatly from car to car, and from supplier to supplier, so no one can give you a "ballpark" estimate. You'll need to get quotes from body shops. Avoid dealerships as their prices will be twice what others will give you.

What is the average cost to replace brakes and rotors?

If there is one component of a vehicle that should be well maintained, invested in and understood, it is the brakes on your car. Having a quality, well-installed and reliable brake system is absolutely vital to the safety of yourself, your passengers and other drivers on the road.It costs an average of $100 to $300 per axle to get pads replaced by a professional service center or mechanic. The pads themselves range from $35 to $150 for a set of 4 (one axle), depending on the material and quality of the pads and the make and model of your vehicle. If the front right wheel’s pads need to be replaced, you should get the ones on the front left wheel replaced at the same time to ensure that both sides wear out uniformly and prevent the car from pulling to one side when you press the brake. If your rotors need to be replaced as well, this could end up running you around $250 to $500 total (including pad replacement). Rotors themselves range from $30 to $75 each (some higher performance rotors are $100+). Prices depend heavily on type, quality and brand. Here you can find top rated sites that sell the best and highest quality auto parts online for good price and free shippingCar PartsAuto Parts WarehouseAdvance Auto PartsJC WhitneyOscaroGet All PartsIn addition, if the calipers (which are responsible for closing and retracting the pads) need replacing, you’re looking at a parts cost of $70 to $130 each for a common make and model or $100-$300+ for a high end vehicle. Rear calipers cost slightly more than those for the front.A complete brake repair job for one wheel including pad replacement, new calipers, rotors and labor can cost anywhere from $300 to $800.

Is the Hyundai Genesis Coupe a sports car?

Yes, it is a sports car, you might try a sport sedan like the maxima instead or call some insurance companies and see if they would cover you for the genesis coupe. Sedan's like Mazdaspeed3/6, EVO, WRX are considered sports cars too.

What is an average customer acquisition cost for an automobile insurance company like State Farm or Allstate?

Most companies that write a broad range of risks manage to an acquisition cost of $250-$300. Some more detail:Auto Insurance companies typically target acquisition costs of 10-15% of expected Lifetime Premium.  The average term (6 month) premium is about $800. Non-standard customers (least desirable/highest risk) have low policy life expectancies -- about 12-15 months, while ultra-preferred risks stick around for a long time -- 36+ months.  Given that, you can see targeted acquisition costs range from ~$150 on the low-end to $500+ on the high end.

Will my car insurance rates go up if damage in accident is under $1,000?

Today I bumped a parked car when trying to pull out of a paralell parking spot. Both cars were scratched, but no dents. My car was in worse shape than hers, and I took mine to an auto body shop to get a quote on what it would cost to repair the scratch. The quote I got was $671.23. The lady (who was sitting in her car when I bumped her) said she was going to have to have the whole bumper replaced... even though it was just a scratch about 3 inches long.
We called the insurance companies and I admitted fault (duh.) She said she was going to call the police and may have to go to the doctor because her neck hurt, but the police were never called. I am still worried she is going to try to sue me or get more money from me... it was just a small scratch! Not even a DENT!

My main question, will my car insurance rates go up, and if so, by how much? I drive a 2010 Kia Soul. I have one other accident on my record and I pay about $150 a month. If it does go up, is it going to be drastic? Her car was a 2012 Kia Soul (same color oddly enough) so I am hoping her quote will be similar? Since the overall damage is under $1,000, what can I expect to happen? Can she really report me to the police, or try to claim injury? I was just pulling out of a parking slot and thought I was clear, but still very slow and cautious. I just don't see how I could have hurt her neck...

Any help/input appreciated, thanks so much.

How much does it cost to repaint scratched bumper?

I owned several auto repair and collision shops for over 30 years.Your vehicle most likely has a black trim that left the black mark on the Kia. The first thing I would do is buff out as much as possible to see if there are scratches at all. Many times when is a plastic bumper lightly sideswipes another plastic bumper usually,  there are no deep scratches. However, if the Kia goes to a body shop, here’s what could happen….The rear bumper has to be removed so that the clear coat wraps around the edge of the bumper and the quarter panel (rear fender). The bumper paint gets a flexible additive added to keep the paint from cracking when it is lightly impacted. so the bumper has to be painted separately from the quarter panel. That color is very tough to match so a blend on the quarter panel is going to be several inches in diameter then the entire panel will have to be clear coated to keep the clear from opening with the elements or detailing the vehicle. The cost will most certainly be between $800 and $1,000 depending what state the shop is in.Any shop that tells you that both panels have to be painted and would do that repair for a few hundred dollars, I recommend to all reading this, RUN. unless the shop gets their materials and workers for free and want to pass their savings on to you. There is no lack of butcher shops and you need to do your homework before you spend your money. If you went through your insurance, the way I would go about it is you call your company and ask “at what amount paid (by your insurance company) does it count as a claim against you?” Most companies have a $1,500 threshold,  anything above that and it counts as an incident and could raise your insurance rates. Make sure you get an estimate from her repair shop and if possible one of your choosing. Then you provide that picture with the estimates to your company so it will keep the shop honest and not take a hammer to the quarter panel to increase the repair cost. You can’t blame her if she wants the car repaired back to perfect condition because when it’s time to return it if it’s a lease or resell it or trade it in, a poor repair will certainly be noticed and will lower the vehicle’s value and if it’s a lease return, she will get a charge to re-repair it the right way.I hope this long answer helped.

Should I get a dodge nitro or a dodge journey?

Your money, your decision.

The Nitro only gets 16 City / 22 Highway, so not the cheapest vehicle to fuel up.

The journey is at 19 City / 25 Hwy.
