Aloe vera is pretty much the best your hair can get. The ingredient is a vast repository of amino acids and proteolytic enzymes which efficiently help improve scalp health and boost hair growth.Benefits Of Aloe Vera For HairA lot of people frequently ask me “is aloe vera good for your hair?” And “what does aloe vera do for your hair?” The answer to the first question is—Yes! Aloe vera is great for your hair! I might sound like I’m exaggerating here, but aloe vera is one of the most magical and beneficial ingredients you could put in your hair. Don’t believe me? You don’t have to. But you can’t dispute these facts:Like I mentioned before, aloe vera contains proteolytic enzymes which help heal and repair the damaged cells in your scalp. People who have used wen cleansing conditioner?

I have it! It is a wonderful conditioner...it is meaningful for someone to use since it is formulated from shampoo and rosemary that can help grow hair. Wen Chaz said he is tired of seeing ppl 's dull hair, it is from using too much shampooing that can hurt your hair (it has harash detrengt and sls)

The above commenter may have point - brand is no difference but it has both shampoo and conditioner inside, that is what made special so ppl will stop shampooing. That is why it called cleansing conditioner involved rosemary oil, it also was suppose massage to awake the growth. WEN hair product is the only one thing a person supposed use. If your hair dirty from using it and probably shampooing too? You were not supposed shampoo, WEN already have shampoo inside

It worked for me because I only use 3 or 5 pumps of it and masaged in, it felt refresh afterward. My hair is thick. It said if your hair is thin , just use 1 or 2 pump unless long hair (I would say thick) use 3 or 5 pumps. To get thru the hair strands and ends . After that you can use leave in (cleansing conditioner is used as leave in too) If it is way too thick or long, use as many pumps you can to get it clean. I used a lottttt than instructed (I think) because Chaz really can't tell how many a person need in thickness of hair. My hair felt really nice and clean after that.

Before I rinse it all out , I would sit and wait with cleansind conditioner on my hair and plastic cap for at least 15 mins , it helps get thru hair follicles and moisturzes more. When you rinse out , you can use any natural oil that help moisture it in/not let frizz or puff get worse when dry . I use spirtz with cocount oil or vitamin e oil sometimes.

For real, WEN hair product is not really same with everyone or required . It is only going to showing them that shampooing can hurt hair strands that why there a before/after pic on adveristive. I AGREE 100% because everytime I use conditioner , it made a big difference. Conditioner is better than shampooing.

How Often Should A Black Woman Wash Her Hair?

Whatever you do just don't wash with shampoo every day. Your hair is dryer than other hair types and washing every day will strip it of its natural oils. I try to wash my hair every other day or 3 times a week, it depends. If you use shampoos without sulfates, organic shampoos don't contain them, or wash with a moisturizing shampoo then your hair won't get as dry as it does with normal shampoo. Sulfates dry out the hair which is why hair becomes very dry after shampooing. Many people don't even use shampoo because of the dryness. They use homemade ingredients to clean and clarify their hair.

You can use conditioner to wash your hair (called co-wash). Conditioner contains cleansing ingredients and gets your hair reasonably clean by removing the water soluble products, but it can't remove other ingredients like mineral oils. Conditioner also causes build-up over time so you'll need to clarify. If you want to completely phase out shampoo from your hair regimine then you can wash with conditioner and when you need completely strip your hair of every thing you can add a little bit of baking soda to your conditioner and this is what gets your hair completely clean. People who co-wash can do this every day and not worry about over drying, plus the conditioner also helps with improving the condition of the hair. If you co-wash then wash once to clean your hair, rinse, add conditioner again to condition the hair.

I use a product called Wen ( http://www.chazdean.com ). This is a no-shampoo line of products. Instead of shampoo it has a cleansing conditioner that gets the hair clean like shampoo but without over drying the hair. It's also a conditioner/leave-in/deep conditioner all in one. When the cleansing conditioner you can wash your hair every day with it if you wanted. I prefer clean hair so I wash my hair every other day, whether it was with shampoo or with Wen.

If you have heat damage then your hair can break off no matter how often you wash. Those are two seperate issues. I've had heat damage before and my hair broke off badly. Start doing hot oil treatments with olive oil to help repair some of the damage and make your hair stronger.

How often should I wash my asian hair with shampoo and conditioner?

Washing your everyday isn't bad for your type of hair. The problem mostly comes from the black ethnicity, for they have oily scalps in general. Then so the need for washing hair everyday is less needed seeing as it could lead to oil depletion, and their heads being dried out(flaky). That was also why the pick was invented( I believe) to clean hair w/o need of shower.

Conditioner alone isn't healthy mostly cause conditioner provides a outer layer that protects hair, and possibly any "thing" that might still be on your hair.

Considering your hair type washing everyday is fine Asian, Europeans, and among other who have a balance scalp that can withstand being washed often.

Biracial hair and Wen hair products?

I'm not biracial, but I and my fully black family have hair that's considered *better* (big, loose curls) than many mixed people's hair (only if you believe in that good hair/bad hair crap, which I don't). Anyway, those products are sold on QVC (http://www.qvc.com), if you don't know it's like a home shopping network, and they have a model that has traci ellis ross' hair type, the model was actually a client who's used the products for years, and on its site (http://www.chazdean.com) there are models with that hair type, so it's one of those products that can be used on any hair type, regardless of race; they also had a model/client who was relaxed and using the product.

I've thought about buying it, but I'm looking at some organic products right now. If you do decide to buy it then they can be found cheaper at QVC. Or, you can buy the 30-day sample for $30 at http://www.wenhaircare.com I've read reviews about it and some people swear by it and others hate it.

Sorry, I couldn't be more specific, but it's hard to tell because every biracial does not have the same hair type and even if they did they won't always have the same texture, so what works for one curly head won't always work for another curly head. Your best bet is to look up some reviews about it by people who has a similar hair type and texture as yours.

Need help canceling Wen Hair Care account!!!?

Hey, you have the number wrong. I cancelled mine about two months ago. 1-800-964-1892 You can find the number on their website, but you have to dig for it (in the FAQs).

I ordered the 30 day supply and waited too long to cancel, so they charged me for the 90 day supply, which is $90 + a one-time shipping fee (if you go on a payment plan). I've finally paid off the 90 day supply. I could have shipped it back after I got it and got a refund but decided to keep the supply and cancel my order. if you can't afford the $100 supply you're being charged, you can change what comes in the box and bring down the price you pay. You can also choose how often you get it. Did you register on the website? If not, do that and you can change how often the supply comes. You have to call them to change what comes in the boxes. But, it sounds like your'e getting the 90 day supply and that comes every 3 months, so you should get it 4 times a year @ that price.

Just call the right number and cancel. They'll try to get you to get a cheaper box or order from another company - the sale is handled by Guthy Rinker, not Wen, and GR has many clients and their sales reps will try to sell you those other clients products. :D I usually cut them off and tell them to just cancel my order.

Funny thing though, is that I'm thinking about un-cancelilng my order because they are probably the cheapest place I've found. I've orderd from QVC, and I dont' dare order from teh official Chaz Dean site because he charges full retail. Going through Guthy Rinker is the cheapest I've found. I think it's like $22 for a 16oz bottle of wen.
