What is it like to model for Hollister?
My son worked there as a model for a few months. It was one of the most boring jobs he ever had. He would parade around in front of the store and try to chat up kids (girls) to get them to come in the store. For a little while ti was fun to try on clothes but after awhile it got old and mind numbing. I also had twin sisters who worked there in high School years ago who also quite for the same reasons. No one wanted them to do anything, think, just be cute, smile and flirt with people to get them into the store.
Do you have to be tall to be a Hollister model?
Okay modeling for the store (like working there) You don't need to be like tall. But if you acctually want to model (like picture model) Then you have to be 5'8" Its all the same qualities as a normal model
How tall do you have to be to be a hollister model?
ok i am almost 5'3 according to A&F's models you have to be 5'4+ since hollister is more for teens than adults how tall do you think i have to be to ever model there thanks :-)
How old do you have to be to be a Hollister model?
To be a model for Hollister you must have previously worked for any of the Abercrombie franchises: Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister Co, Abercrombie, Ruehl No.925, or Gilly Hicks. If you have worked for any of these companies you may go to their website and choose A&F Casting where you can submit photos and see when their different casting dates are and their locations. And the legal age is 18.
How old do you have to be to model for Hollister?
If I just walked in the store and asked their employees, would they be able to tell me? I was in Abercrombie&Fitch one day and one of their employees asked me to model for them, but I told them I was only 15, and they said come back when I'm 18. Would I be able to model fo Hollister if I questioned the employees about it? And yes, I'm perfect model height/weight. 5'9 and 130 pounds and in a 2. thanks! =]
Do you have to be tall to work at Hollister?
I'm in the 10th grade, I'm not really that tall, but I am the most adorable person in my whole school, I wear Hollister and Abercrombie and Fitch, but, mostly Hollister. I'm also great to talk to, I'm not sixteen yet but I will be in August.
How do I become a Hollister model?
When I worked there 5 years ago, I walked in, and this employee came up to me and said “are you 17? would you like to apply for a job?” I said “yes” and “sure.” So I applied and was done a group interview. I talked about my work commitment and myself and half the other people in the group got a job. I worked there for a year, quit, but went to work for A&F about 6 months later in my new city I was located in. I had to interview again. This time it was just me and one other girl. I had never seen a worse interview, she talked nothing about wanting to work, just to be photographed. She said how she has headshots from her time living in Iran. She didn’t get the job.Apply, show you have a work ethic, and you will likely get the job. Also, talk highly about diversity. Since the recent PR scandals dealing with the lack of diversity (namely racist hiring policies) ensuring the employees think diversity is a good thing for the work environment is a high concern for them. Every interview I was aware of during my time at the stores, diversity was a question asked.
Where can I find a list of Hollister's models?
In the rolodex of Hollister’s Creative Director, Art Director, or Talent manager. And no retailer is going to hand you that list. That pool of talent and how they are used is protected information and key to their marketing efforts that they spend fortunes testing and perfecting who they use for what.Sure you can guess who many are by doing a lot of visual research but no one gives away their talent pool list for any reason.
