Why am I unable to post or answer any questions on Yahoo Answers?
Clearly, you have upset a Yahoo! god and they are firing you from Yahoo! Answers.I used to work for Yahoo! Answers a decade ago and I used to spend a lot of time asnwering a lot of questions and the company was extremely happy with my work.In fact, they send me a Yahoo! Answers jacket to my home.I still have it.A few years later I was one of the most popular writers on Yahoo! Answers and the founder and CEO of Yahoo! at the time David Filo himself send me a letter with his signature and everything congratulating me for my hard work.I still have this letter.A decade ago, a letter signed by a billionaire was a huge deal for me.Now, I get job offers from billionaires, almost each month and I almost always decline them.I still want to work for Elon Musk, Adam D’Angelo, Max Levchin, Peter Thiel, Luke Nosek and Ken Howery, thought.One day, all of a sudden my Yahoo! Answers account was blocked for unknown reasons.I tried to open a new account and this worked for a little while but eventually my account was blocked again.I tried to open a new account and this worked again for a little while but eventually my account was blocked again.After that, I simply stopped trying and evolved into something else.I was extremely dissapointed by all this and I could not fully understand why they were blocking my accounts.Obviously I was younger and dumber a decade ago.It turns out a billionaire got upset about some of my answers and he simply bribed Yahoo! and they fired me.I was bringing a lot of eyesballs to Yahoo! Answers a decade ago.I was answering questions for them for free, you know.Maybe Yahoo! would still be profitable today if they hired me as a regular employee back then.We will never know.It appears that you are in exactly the same situation I was a decade ago.Just forget about Yahoo! Just type out the FULL URL. (http:\\full web address here). Or better yet, to avoid typing it incorrectly, go to the site(s) and copy the FULL URL and paste in with your question. Make sure the web sites you're sharing relate to a question you are asking, or you could be violating the Community Guidelines.
How to attach pictures on Yahoo Answer?
Some people told me I have to be level 3 to attach hyperlinks. But as I said before, I have already posted some questions with picture links before but I forgot how. (Not through the Photo button). And on google, people said that I need to post the pictures on photobucket or other websites but my previous picture questions did not require me posting them beforehand. You need to have your photo on any online site below are some you can use among many. http://www.flickr.com/ http://photobucket.com/ http://fotopic.net/ http://www.snapfish.com/info17 Then copy the URL link and paste it to your question.They all have different ways to copy the URL link. But below is the info on 2 of the most popular. I recommend you use flickr as its part of yahoo so you’re less likely to have any problems with the link To use flickr click on the photo then click "all size" (above the photo) choose the size you want to use then click "grab the url" under the photo and right click and paste it in your question/answer as the link below. http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1074/1192809302_22abfa3506_b.jpg To use photobucket click the photo and choose the size of photo you want to post then click the “direct” link under the photo and copy and paste it to your question/answer. Why does the Yahoo Answer community despise the Quora community?
Given the number of grammar and spelling errors in that excerpt, I “litteraly” cannot imagine why these people wouldn't like Quora.I don't frequent Yahoo Answers — for the questions I have, it is not a suitable forum, since they don't have any mathematics rendering, so maths and physics questions get warped into awful inline expressions which melt your eyes to look at — so I can't tell you if this is a pervasive attitude on Yahoo.However, the excerpt you provide reads like one very butthurt individual who got burned by Quora moderation (and given their writing style, this surprises me not at all) , and is now just ranting on the internet.The people who believe that Quora Moderation are “though” police are invariably people who cannot put together a cogent argument without resorting to calling their detractors names. I (and others) have some issues with Quora — but calling moderation “thought police" is hilarious.
