How can I add 'additional information' while asking a question through the Quora app?
I have never asked originally asked a qurstoon, so this was the first time iI tried it and it is a but confusing.Anyways, once you have asked the question, tap on those three dots which you can see on your right hand sideThen tap on Edit and later tap on Edit Questions and DetailsLike this you can add your details.

You can’t do this on Quora. But i think you can post your question then you will answer the question by yourself (so you become the first person who answered the question like the description). That is among of Quora problems which i hope they will fix very soon, though i have read somewhere that there was once the room for you to add more details on your question.So i am sure they have removed it maybe for the aim of improving it i sure hope they return it. So far the only for you to add more details on your question and perhaps the popular one is.To add link which will direct the readers to a place where there is abundant details concerning tour question. I have never use this method by myself though, but i have come across people using it here in Quora.To use the comment section this is way popular than the previous one, after asking your question you can tell the readers that you have add more details about your question on the comment section.Simply like this“ Why is Quora doesnt have a share button/option?”I have add More details on this question on the comment section.Just like that so the reader will view your question then scroll down to the comment section and find details concerning your question.The only catch here is that, will your comment with details continue to be visible when people start adding their comments!!?At the end of the day is all to Quora make this wonderful platform user friendly by alowing people to add details upon their question.I think Quora is going through alot of construction and maintenance right now…Edit: i have find the ‘share option’…so the question i have use above will remain as just an example and nothing more.

UPDATE:As of 2018, Quora has changed the user interface and removed the answer details feature. Quora no longer supports adding question details.———————————————————————When you start adding Question, first popup comes where you need to add Question Heading as in the picture belowAfter you entered you question heading here and click on next, another popup appears which asks you if your question is similar to the existing ones. This is where you have option to write question details before adding your question. See the boxed area in the image below. There you can click and add your question details.I know this is not very much visible on first but that is the intended way of adding details.

First, ask your question.Then go to your question and click the three dots as shown: Now, click "Edit" And then you see a button that says "Edit Question & Details". Click that and you should be able to add a description to your question.
How do I add context to a question (details, not a link) on the Quora app?
Quora used to allow people to add “details” to their questions, which I think is what you are asking for.However, they recently took away that option in favor of lengthing the character count on questions and allowing one link to provide context to the question. There is no “question details” option anymore. Not on the app or the website or anywhere.You can kind of get around it by adding your details to a comment on the question, but it's far, far more effective to just shorten your question to fit since fewer people read the comments.
