Hi, Try Clearing History, Cookies and Cache, also Update the Internet Browser you are using at the moment or use a Different Internet Browser. To Contact Yahoo by Email, this can be done by clicking on HELP at the Bottom Right Hand side of the Yahoo Home Page under Horoscopes. Click on whatever Subject is best for you for more information, you can also Click on the Arrows for more options, or Type your Problem in the Search Help box. For more Help and advice you can also Go to the Right hand side of page and click on Contact Customer Care. Click on Select a Product, then select a Category or Version, page will reload for you to click on Sub Category. Make sure you fill in Brief Details of what has Happened, click Enter. Depending on the Category you select and the Sub Category you also select you may see at the Bottom of the Page for more help Click on EMAIL A SUPPORT AGENT. You may have to click on different ones and try variations. Or else there will be information there on the page to help with your problem. There will then be a Form to fill in. Fill in the form with as much information as you can remember about your security details and your yahoo account etc. Yahoo will then contact you at a Different Email Address that you need to give them. This email address CANNOT be a yahoo email one. You need to give them a different Email Address, it could be one that you already have or you will need to create a new one, Google, Hotmail, etc. You do this by clicking on Email and then click on Register and follow the instructions. They only need this Different Email Address to give you instructions regarding your yahoo account. When Yahoo send you an email, make sure you check the Trash and Spam folders as well as the Inbox in case it went in there instead. You will be asked to create a New Password, Best a hard to Guess One for anyone trying to access your Yahoo Account. I Would Also Strongly advise that you register an alternative email address and your Mobile Number/Cell Phone Number with Yahoo, that is done through Account Settings. (I Think). That way if your account is ever hacked or similar, a message should come up and they can send a code to your phone or other email address for you to then unlock your Yahoo Email Account. Search for Yahoo cookies and delete all your Yahoo cookies. You can then sign into your account(s). That said, you may not have full functionality. Yahoo is continuing to have mail issues.

If you haven't given an alternative email, haven't configured security questions, and haven't provided a mobile number that is current, then thats 3 strikes. I can't advise you if you have neither of those 3 safeguards set. Try contacting Yahoo support, but your chances of regaining access don't look good.
IMAP configuration on Outlook?
I configured my Yahoo email on Outlook 2010 as follow: Incoming mail server: imap.mail.yahoo.com Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.mail.yahoo.com and used the following Server Port Numbers: Incoming server (IMAP): 993 - SSL encrypted Outgoing server (SMTP): 465 - SSL encrypted I was able to sync all my inbox and personal folders, but every time the Outlook try to make Send/Receive connection, I am receiving errors notification,as per below: ERROR 0x800CCCD2 - Task 'Synchronizing subscribed folders for Voney.' reported error (0x800CCCD2) : 'Outlook cannot synchronize subscribed folders for Voney. Error: An IMAP command failed. If you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet service provider (ISP).' ERROR 0x800CCCDB - The UID of a message changed unexpectedly. This typically indicates a server bug. Your program may not function properly after this ERROR 0xCCC0F - Task 'Synchronizing subscribed folders for Voney.' reported error (0x800CCC0F) : 'Outlook cannot synchronize subscribed folders for Voney. Error: The server did not respond to this IMAP command before the connection was terminated. IF you continue to receive this message, contact your server administrator or Internet Service provider (ISP). And finally a Microsoft Outlook pop up: YOUR IMAP SERVER CLOSED THE CONNECTION. Yes, it can be easily intercepted but most web-based proxies are just setup by n00bs that want to get on myspace. It would be really easy to capture and intercept passwords but it is highly unlikely to happen because of the quantity of proxies and the knowledge it would take to implement a script to do it. The best thing to do if you have to use a proxy would be to change your password after each time you use the proxy (after your done sending emails for the day, just go in and change your password, even if it's only be one character). If they are logging or capturing your passwords then it will be going to a log file and they probably won't look at it for a couple hours minimum, and might not even see it for weeks.
