It's not easy learning another language, and many people don't bother. In fact, the majority can barely speak or write in their first language, never mind another one! So don't be hard on yourself, be proud! You're doing great. Secondly, there is no such thing as a 'good' accent. It's only snobs and uneducated people who think some accents are better than others. Accents represent where you come from, and you should be proud of that. All accents should be celebrated. Don't try to speak in a certain accent - just be natural. Be proud of your own accent and don't try to change it. When it comes to improving your speaking, the only thing for it is practice, practice, practice! Talk in front of the mirror. Tell your English teacher you feel insecure about the speaking part and ask for extra help. Watch films/videos/YouTube clips in English. Try to be around English-speaking people as often as possible, and one other thing that will help a lot is to read books in English - out loud if possible. I want to get a tattoo on the inner part of my arm that says the word "courageous" but in latin. Is it Fortis?
