How To Be Really Organized For School

Which one is more organized for school!?

Separate binders for sure!

Have one binder for each class... Then, have dividers in your binders. Have one section for homework/assignments to be completed, one for notes, and one for past assignments. You can even add other sections as you feel need be.

For homework, I suggest having an entirely separate binder. This is what I did. I had one binder just for homework. I had three dividers in there. One was for other things for school (registration papers, etc.). Next I had one for homework to turn in. Plus I had one for homework to complete. This really helped me keep organized. However, when you get the homework check to see if you will need notes or something from the class to help you do it so that way you don't forget to bring it home. Whenever you visit your locker put the things you won't need to bring home away, and keep the things you will need to bring home in your backpack so you don't forget anything.

Also, it's a really good idea to have a planner. Make sure you use it though. Write down when projects are due and what homework you have for the night. Write down phone numbers you need to work on the project with someone and deadlines you have for yourself (i.e. finish rough draft thursday, final draft friday, etc.)

How do I get organized for school?7th grade?

Depends on what works for you.

For 7th grade I had 1 large binder
I had one folder for each class
one folder for handouts/school news/stuff for my parents to sign
Then I had a homework folder where I put all of my homework- ordered by my classes

other people do the one binder for each subject
with dividers for:
notes
tests
homework
handouts

that works for some but I could never put things in the right section

Then for my desk at home I had 3 trays a "to do for tomorrow" "to do later" (I put a sticky note with the due date on each of those) and a "done tray"

*Biggest suggestion get an agenda- vera Bradley had a nice student organizer but with all my activities I use a franklin covey planner.

*as far as school suplies goes don't buy anything but the basics- notebooks, pencils, paper, pens etc. The teacher will give you a list of what you really need. also 5 star has some nice notebooks they have dividers in them with pocket folder and notebooks and hold like 4 subjects. That is what I am using this year.

What is it like to organize a school walk out?

It's thrilling. It's fun. It's scary. It's overwhelming.Today, my friend and I decided to organize a school walkout at our high school for April 20th, to tell the media and the government that we've had enough of their lack of action regarding school shootings.By the end of the day, our peaceful protest had over 150 overenthusiastic members. We've got different committees: for speeches, for posters, for media outreach, and for food/drinks.I'm so damn excited, and nervous, because I'm giving one of the first speeches. Here's what I have so far:"We are the generation of mass shootings. We’ve grown up hearing whispers of Columbine, of Sandy Hook, and now, of Parkland.Hearing of school shootings became ingrained into the very fabric of our lives; Sandy Hook seemed just as normal to us as Hurricane Sandy. But now that we’re older, we’ve realized that this isn’t normal. And we’re here to make sure you all know it.We want change. Not in 10 years, not in 5 years. We want to see real changes being made and actions being taken in our government, now.Enough is enough.Too many mothers and fathers have lost their children, and we’re tired of going to school in fear of the person in the desk next to us.We want change.Alyssa. Scott. Martin. Nicholas. Aaron. Jamie. Christopher. Luke. Cara. Giana. Joaquin. Alaina. Meadow. Helena. Alexander. Carmen. Peter. These 17 people had families. They had mothers, they had fathers, they had brothers and sisters and teachers and friends, and their deaths were unnecessary and unprovoked acts of violence that could have been prevented.Don’t let their deaths be in vain, like the deaths of those who were victims of the other 24 school shootings since Columbine. We want change."

How do I get organized for school?

You just have to cheat really well by hiding all the answers inside your mind!Honestly, you must make a study plan for the semester and stop cramming for tests. If you study an adequate amount each day then you will remember the material and do better on tests. There is no such thing as an easy A though. Some people just find some material easier than others. For instance, I found organic chemistry to be pretty easy, but others found it to be extremely difficult. They likened it to studying a foreign language without access to a dictionary or grammar. There was a really interesting situation with physics. I found first semester to be very difficult but the second semester to be fairly manageable. Others experienced the reverse saying first semester was much easier than the second semester. It was strange, I didn’t find anyone saying both semesters were easy/manageable but only that one semester was harder than the other.Sometimes it just comes down to the “wiring” of your brain and how well you are able to assimilate information from a particular subject. You will find some courses to be easy while others are very difficult. I always heard how difficult statistics was going to be and was worried when I signed up to take it as a four week long summer course. I ended up thinking the course was a joke when I took it though! I scored a 99.49% for the final grade. I missed two questions during the semester because I mixed up the answer choices when selecting them on accident. Other students were failing the course and I couldn’t understand why. There was just something about how my mind worked that quickly and easily understood statistics - I didn’t even really study for it. But physics, that course kicked my tail! So, make a study plan, study everyday, focus on subjects that are difficult for you, start studying at least two weeks prior for all exams, maybe get a tutor, and work hard.Resources:Teach Yourself How to Learn: Strategies You Can Use to Ace Any Course at Any Level.

Getting organized for school?

Getting - and staying - organized is tough, but it can be done. You don't even have to invest in an expensive Palm Pilot or anything like that.

Clean up and arrange your desk at home. Make sure that everything you need for studying - paper, pencils and pens, calculator, whatever - is right there and within easy reach. You can even go so far as to buy a couple of letter trays: one for assignments that you have yet to complete and the second for things that are ready to go (or are due the next day).

Organize your binder. Use only one folder of each color. That way, you can glance and see exactly what folder you're grabbing (red = English, for example). Keep these folders in your backpack. Take out the appropriate folder when you're in that class.

Now: get loose-leaf notebook paper or buy a spiral-bound notebook for each class. Put the notebook paper into the right folder at the end of each class...or keep the spiral notebook with the folder.

When you get home, you should be able to easily and quickly find all of your assignments, homework, notes, et cetera. Work on one at a time so that you don't misplace things (english in the math folder, for example).

How do I get my school studies organized?

I don’t know if I can really help you a lot with this, but maybe you can take the first step I did and continue to change your (our?) habit.Just like Zulneika said before, I am the same way. I used to not even keep track of my assignments, and would instead attempt to keep everything in my head and expect to remember everything once I got home. Needless to say, I did not remember most of the things I had to do and would end up being unprepared for class the next day. Then, I would proceed to repeat the process again four times, and catch up on everything Sunday afternoon to turn in on Monday.Luckily, I got my stuff together before middle school, when grades started to become serious.I separate my work and order that I do my work in by the periods in which they are due. If I have, say, two worksheets, and one is due before lunch tomorrow and the other is due after lunch tomorrow, I’ll go ahead and do the one due before lunch right when I get home and then later decide whether or not I want to save the other worksheet for other periods or during my lunch period. In this way, I’ll at least get the super urgent and/or work-heavy assignments done and then save time for procrastinating over minor assignments later XD

How do I organize a school library?

You didn’t mention whether this was elementary, middle, or high school. I will assume elementary. Use the Dewey Decimal System. Separate books for your youngest readers to one area. Make sure the shelves are low enough for them to reach the books without help. Some libraries are sorting picture books alphabetically into bins on a low table allowing the kids can browse easily. Shelving can get taller as the grade level of the books gets higher. Have a cozy area where the kids can sit and look at the books to see if they really want to check it out. You need tables for those who are doing research or writing papers. If your school can afford it, include computers in the library with a searchable school library catalog and internet access for research.

How to organize high school notes?

Well I'll try to give you my ideas...

Write with pencil normally, it's easier to erase.

Use each pen for a different subject.
EX. black to math, blue for english, red for geography and green for science
Use it for underlining your titles, subtitles etc and anything else they tell you to underline.

As well as spliting up pens for school, split up you highlighters.
EX. Orange for math, pink for english, green for geography and pink for science.
Use highlighters for whatever the teacher tells you. Also another recommendation, I believe if a teacher refers to something multiple times. Highlight it, it's probably something you should remember. See if you can get a mini ruler for highlighting to keep your lines straight. Makes it a lot nicer to read.

If school hasn't already started practice writing the alphabet over and over to get you writing neater. It would be like school because you'll have to write a lot in school and you'll get tired of it, but you can practice keeping neat writing.

For you binder, folder, notebooks here's an idea. Put you notebook in you binder and use it for taking good notes, not just random stuff. You could even write it out after school and just take the regular notes in class. It would be considered studying. Then for you folder you could put any homework assignments in it. Like say a math sheet etc.

Best of luck! Have fun!

Who organizes a high school reunion??

It's usually the class president. But if something happens to the president, it usually is started by the next person in position. Or by someone who graduated from the class that really takes the time to get everything organized.
