How To Be Rich In India_i Am 18 Starts College Me And My Family Have No Money To Fulfill Our

My parents want me to stay home for college ?

Hi .
I'm currently attending my 12th year of high school ( senior year )(17 years of age about to be 18 in April ) and I really want to go to college.
The big issue is , I do not want to live with my parents during my college years. I want to be freeee , I want to explore ,and w/o my parents around , I believe it'll be a better social & learning environment for me. My parents are constantly talking about me staying home for college , even worst , a CUNY college. I feel like i'm trap. I do not know how to confront them. I tried a lil , but each time I start a conversation about this , my father comes up with so many darn arguments on why I should stay home , and why I should attend a CUNY. Every body else in my family studied away from their parents , even my parents studied away from their parents , so why not me. They are also forcing me to major into the Medical field. They always claim i'll never get a job or get well paid being Computer Engineer or w.e other majors they have out there. They are constantly talking about Physician , physician physician. What if I fail to complete the required courses in medical field. What now ?.

Now because of this , I'm slowed down from attending college. I have not fill one single form for a SUNY college yet nor CUNY . But I'm right now , this minute trying to fill an online SUNY application though. Is it too late to do so ? . I want to enter college this summer or this fall.

I'm also stuck with the questions on how i'm going to pay for SUNY college. I already know that there are many programs such as FAFSA that can cover most of your CUNY funds, but what if I want to attend a SUNY college ? How can I pay off for SUNY ? Is it to late to get a scholarship ?
I have a 76.90 GPA avg (I kind of screwed up my first years but I think it will get higher this senior year ) is that good enough to attend a SUNY college ?

Please help me , It's almost January and I need to find a solution NOW!.

Thanks In advance.

What is it like to earn Rs.60 million per year in India? How many people earn Rs. 6 crore income per year in India?

One of my friend is earning more than 50 lac per month. Let me tell you about his background. This guy has no college degree first of all. He started his journey from his micro website on which he used to put some ads and generate around 2-3K per month. He enrolled for degree in pharmacy but failed, since his mind was not ready for this life. He then left the college and started research on digital marketing. After so many years of efforts he established a ad network (just like google ad sense but on a smaller scale) soon he rocked the market. And now from nothing to around 10 crore per annum he is earning. He is the CEO and founder of AdTriva Ad Media (www.adtriva.com).What I like about this guy is his simplicity. Though he can afford a BMW or Mercedes for him,he is still using his Apache bike:-) He is very humble as well. Here is Prashant Tapkeer for you.Edit- for those who think this is fake. Here is the article from ERP insight magazine. (If you know what is this magazine all about)

Do my parents have to give me permission to go to college?

They don't need to give you permission or sign any papers for you to go to college. In college they don't even worry about your parent's decisions, they worry about YOURS.

Can my parents kick me out if I'm 18 but still attending high school?

My parents are... to put it lightly... absolutely insane. They have no idea how to really parent a kid. I'm the oldest, and they tend to treat me as if they have given up on me, despite my best efforts to prove to them that I'm trying to do what they want, trying to succeed, and trying to do everything in my power to make them happy. I am currently trying to get a job, but it's hard in the current economy, a fact they don't seem to understand. They're never happy with what I do. They insult me on a daily basis, degrade me, treat me as if I'm lower then them, or anyone else, and generally make my life a living hell.

My question is, are they legally allowed to kick me out of my house if I'm still attending high school and have done absolutely nothing that warrants being evicted? I attend high school every day, have missed less than 4 days of school this year, have no criminal record, don't drink, don't smoke, pretty much don't do anything that would be considered wrong.

MY PARENTS ARE STRICTLY AGAINST INTERRACIAL MARRIAGES ???

hi. name's sona...i'm 18 yrs old....live in california. recently my parents and i were just having a casual talk about my future, college, career, etc....anyways, then they started talking about my wedding/marriage in the future....anyways, they told me that i can marry the guy that i'll like in the future as long as he is the same race as me...and is punjabi....( i'm indian btw as in people from india...not native american) and my ethnicity is punjabi. anyways, my parents don't allow me to have any boyfriends at all...but i've had some behind their back in school...and none of them were indian....for me, love is blind....when u like a person, u don't see their color, race, etc...that's who i am....if i like the guy, then i like the guy...u get what i'm saying....anyways, my parents don't seem to understand that since they had an arranged marriage....they want me to have an arranged marriage too...don't get me wrong. my parents are not racists at all...they have friends of all races...

I am 18 and pregnant, have no job, money, and parents are struggling? Please help me!?

To keep a child that is the product of rape must have been a very difficult decision to make. Make sure you have a lot of support in place as there may be a lot of unexpected emotions pop up try joining a local support group or seek counseling if you have not already. If you have not already reported it to police consider doing so if they find the father not only will he be off the street but he will also be forced to pay child support which will help you out a little.

There are a lot of things that a baby needs but these things do not need to be expensive just clean and safe. Try looking for things at op-shops/ebay but make sure they are up to your countries basic safety standards i.e. distance between cot bars, sleep ware made from fire retardant materials. Your mum should have a lot of helpful ideas A cheap brightly coloured toy from the op-shop means just as much to a baby as the latest 'mummy must have' for $20 at the toy store.

Unfortunately you have been looking for work for a year and now are pregnant that will make it next to impossible to get a job forget all the anti-discrimination stuff they will discriminate and it will be impossible to prove. You best bet would be to swallow your pride and accept the welfare for the sake of your child. This does not mean you will be on it forever nor should you expect to be but it was created for a reason and you now find yourself in the position of needing it however use your time on it to do whatever you need to to improve your chances of getting a job in the future go back and finish high school if you have not already if you have find out more about a job you would want and find out what you need to get it.

It won't be easy but nothing worthwhile ever is Good Luck
