How can I stop websites from recognizing my country?

Ok so, I live in Mexico, and whenever I visit websites like Google or Dailymotion, they automatically redirect me to the Spanish/Mexican version of the site, but I hate Spanish, I use English all the time for everything.

Even worse, sometimes YouTube won't let me watch certain videos because they're not "available in my country".

So, is there a way to stop this and make the websites think I'm from... say, Australia instead?

How can I block websites on my Android phone?

On Android, you'll need to edit the hosts file on your device to redirect sites you want to block. You'll need a file manager, and a text editor - the easiest option is to use our favourite app ES File Explorer, which lets you do both things. Here's how it works.1. Install ES File Explorer Open ES File Explorer and tap the "/" button at the top. Tap on system > etc.2. In this folder, you'll see the hosts file - tap it and in the pop up menu, tap text. In the next pop up, tap ES Note Editor.3. Tap the three dots button in the top right, and tap edit.4. Now, you're editing the file, and to block sites, you want to redirect their DNS. To do this, just start a new line, and type "127.0.0.1 www.blockedwebsite.com" (without the quotes, where blocked website is the name of the site you're blocking) for each website you want to block. For example, you'll have to type 127.0.0.1 www.google.com to block Google.5. Reboot your Android device. If that method is too complex for you, you can install an anti-virus app such as Trend Micro that lets you block websites.1. Install the app and run it. Go to Options > Safe surfing.2. Now swipe to Parental Controls and click set up account. Create an account and you'll see an option called Blocked List in the app. Tap it, and tap Add. Now add the websites you want to block one at a time. Once that is done, you won't be able to access these websites on your Android smartphone.source:http://m.gadgets.ndtv.com/intern...Edit:Open ES File ManagerNavigate to /system/etcLocate and long-press the hosts fileEdit as said above

My ip address was blocked from a website, now what?

I tried signing up with another screen name, but it said i already have an account (ip address blocked) Does this mean if i make a account on a different computer, then try to use that account on my computer, i won't be able to check it? Thanks.

How do u unblock websites that are blocked? even when useing the proxy sites you still cant get through?

None should work. Any proxies posted here are almost certainly already on proxy lists that schools admin and the content blocking software subscribes to. So they are likely already blocked.

School's are legally bound by the federal Children's Internet Protection Act to block proxies and the like.

Schools have to take this seriously to get certain technology funding.

All the proxies you try should be blocked by your school. That is because most schools use content blocking software. It blocks proxies 98% of the time because of their content (that they are a proxy), not because of the web address.
Also there are admins like me securing the system, adding any the system may miss (listed on proxy lists and even here) by adding them to the DNS blacklist.

You are very very unlikely to find one that works and even then it will only work for a short time until they know you are using it.

Your risking your computer rights/detention/suspension by trying to bypass their security.
