'other files' can be apps, installation files for apps, maps data, messages, web browser cache, etc. So go thru things like ur browser and in the options, delete cache, cookies, history, etc. Open messaging, settings, and change the default message saving location to memory card. Go to ur app manager and delete any apps and themes that u downloaded and saved to ur c drive. And look in ur maps settings to see if u can change the default save settings because every time u view a map, it saves it. If all that still doesnt help, a hard reset might be ur only option but thats a drastic last resort that will format ur phone and delete everything.
