How can I dress like Effy Stonem?
So, I previously did not know who Effy Stonem is, but a quick google search showed me all I needed to know. I have never watched skins, but based on the look, I can guess that this Effy character is very headstrong, no BS type of girl, with a very carefree attitude. Am I right?Effy’s look is very classic punk rock chic. It includes long, messy, wavy hair, and the dark eye makeup consisting of a lot of black eyeliner. Her outfits are very loose fitting, see-through, with lots of layering going on, mostly black and the occasional neutral hue, no bright colours, chunky boots, distressed tight jeans, and lots of jewelry. Think something along the lines of Hot Topic. Shop there and you’ll look like her in no time.

How to get makeup like Effy Stonem (Skins)?
The Makeup. Effy basically has three makeup styles. Barely there, light dark, and super smokey eye. Barely there: Apply a light foundation that matches your skin tone. Apply a light pink blush on your cheeks and up your cheek bones. Apply black mascara on the top lashes. Pat a bit of white eyeshdow on your top lid and right under your bottom lid. Light dark: Apply black eyeliner to your bottom lid. Apply a grey shadow from the middle to the outer corner of your eye. Apply black eye shadow on the very end of your outer lid and smudge it into your crease. Apply a light pink blush to the apples of your cheeks. Apply a light pink lipstick on your lips. Super smokey eye: Apply black eyeliner to your top and bottom lid and meet them at the corners. Apply black eyeshadow to your top lid, fading as it reaches your brow bone. Apply a little black eye shadow under your eyeliner on your bottom lid. Smudge them together a bit. Apply black mascara to your top and bottom lashes. Leave your lips bare, or apply a chapstick or clear gloss.
How to Act/Look like Effy Stonem?
Alright , so Effy was really dark and mysterious in the show so you should try to mimic her style. For makeup you should get black eyeliner. She wears this a lot, I feel like a think black line over your eye would be cute and sutble for an everyday look, for night maybe add a smoky eye. For clothes, She has a very punker yet stylish kind of look. I suggest try skulls! They are soooo in style now anyways so invest in skull print tops. Also dark jeans, leather shorts, layered sweaters over dresses would be cute too! Oh and shoes you NEED combat boots, can go with almost everything! Fill your fingers with cool silver rings, and black nail polish is a plus. Hair I would suggest any style would do, maybe straightend would be best, but curly should do too. REMEMBER, add your personal style to this too, you don't have to copy her look exactly! :)) For the acting part I wouldn't do it. She isn't mentally stable. xx

Wear lots of smokey eye makeup, there's actually lots of YouTube tutorials that you can check out where they teach you how to wear your makeup like Effy. Being mysterious doesn't mean you have to become mute like Effy. In fact some of the most mysterious people in history were not quiet people. Just I guess don't talk a whole lot about your life and when someone asks you a question about yourself don't answer it, instead ask them a question about themselves and keep doing that every time you get asked a question about yourself. However be careful everyone loves a little enigma in a person but unless you've actually got like a deep dark secret or you're secretly not human or whatever people will get tired of it and just avoid talking to you altogether. Also, don't try too hard to be like Effy, because may be able to attract lots of people but in all honesty she's not really a very nice person and she skips class and does all kinds of drugs and she puts herself in dangerous situations. Also as the show progresses people start to get annoyed with Effy and she actually pisses a lot of people off. So just be yourself you can copy her style and makeup if you want but DO NOT be a clone of her. Hope this helped.
