Companies like Dropbox and Netflix and many others. Individual companies who use Amazon's services may cooperate. In an interesting twist, one of Amazon's cloud customers is none other than the CIA.

I will break your question in 2 partA) Chances (Probability) of turning into Totalitarian state - Answer is zero percent. India is democratic country and run by constitution. There is no single incident in 3 Year 7 month tenure of Modi Government when government has interfared with Federal structure of India (BJP ruled or Non BJP ruled states). Will the ubiquity of the Internet make privacy obsolete?
While the ubiquity of the Internet will make it possible for privacy to be violated, the fault does not lie with the Internet in itself. It could easily be omnipresent without being a privacy risk.
