How do I find something that is lost?

Once again, you've lost your car keys, and you can't find them. It's frustrating, and it can cost you good will at work if you're late. You can find them or something else you lost, though, if you take a moment to calm down and follow these steps.Method 1:Calming Down1Breathe in and out. Take a moment to take a few deep breaths. The breaths will help you calm down and refocus.Sometimes you get too stressed when searching for something, and you need to calm down to help you find the item. Your emotional response will distract you from looking.2Empty your brain. As you're breathing deeply, take a moment to clear your head of other thoughts. Stop trying to frantically think about where you left it, and just keep your mind clear.3Remember that it's not the end of the world. If you let adrenaline take control, you won't be able to focus. Calm down, and take a step back.4Put it in context. What were you doing when you last had the item? Where were you going? Thinking through the context of when you saw it last can help you remember where you put it down.5Be confident. Tell yourself you will be able to find what you've lost. By bolstering yourself up, you not only calm yourself down, you also give yourself the energy you need to go find itMethod :2Looking for the Item1Check where the item should be first every time. That is, if you always put your keys by the door, look by the door first. They may have fallen off the table or be under your purse.2Clean up. Sometimes the easiest way to find an object is to start cleaning away the clutter. You'll be better able to see what's there if you move away everything else.3Be systematic. If you're certain you've lost an item in a certain room, divide it into sections. Go through each section one by one, checking under furniture and lifting up other items.4Check odd places. Sometimes, you may stick something in an odd place without realizing it. For instance, you may stick your coffee cup in the freezer without realizing it, especially if you're half asleep. The item will be where you least expect it.TrackR bravo -

How Can I Find Someone I Lost Contact With Years Ago?

I have been going through a lot of bad things in My life lately and I would really like to talk to My best friend that I used to have, problem is that because of Me letting My stupid ex-wife tell Me what to do years ago I lost contact with him. I have his full name and know what area of the country he generally lives in but I need his phone number or address or something and I keep coming up blanks. I call like directory information and get bupkis. What I need to know is, are there any free (cause I keep getting ones that charge..) websites where I can use his name to find his phone number or address?

Can You help? Please?

What should you do if you find something valuable but there is no lost and found and everyone you ask says it's not theirs? Is it okay to keep it?

I can only assume you’ve recently found something valuable. The moral thing to do would be to contact the authority of where ever you found the thing, i.e. the lost and found of a school or office, store manager, the cops, whoever. You’ll have to give the thing away to them, of course, but finding something doesn’t mean you own it. It’s the right thing to do.Of course, if you just kept the thing, it’d be pretty hard to prove any wrongdoing.

What have you found that you lost years ago?

Interesting story. Well interesting to me. Idk if you’ll think so. But-Several years ago I had tried to quit singing, which was my life’s passion until then. I like other things too, so I went back to school, and did a paralegal diploma and BAs in philosophy and psychology. One summer between years of school I found a book in my house that wasn’t mine. I texted everyone I knew to see if someone had left it here. Nope. The book was “the artist’s way” by Julia Cameron. I read it. It was how to get unblocked as an artist. It suggested things to do like journaling and dating yourself. I thought I’d try it, so maybe I could improve my writing and have an easier time in school. So it said to journal every morning, so I did. Just whatever came out I’d put down. Dreams, thoughts, feelings, whatever. In less than a week I realized I still wanted to sing. That I had been happier singing than not singing, and I couldn’t hope to find other things I loved if I wasn’t doing the thing I knew I loved. So I started singing again. Just getting my voice back in shape, and remembering I’m a singer, and loving it.Then my sister noticed my FB post about the book, and she told me she had given it to me when she moved to England after high school, in the 90s. For almost 20 years it had been in my house. I had moved twice, and never seen it until the time I needed to, I guess. Pretty cool.10/10 would recommend that book, BTW.
