How do you fix the speaker on Dell Inspiron laptop? It works with a headphone jack in, but as soon as I pull it out the headphone jack, the audio is not there.

The sound/audio signal on a PC can either go to the ouput device “headphones" or to the output device “speaker" and It is the second one that's broken. This usually means that cables are damaged, or the speaker is broken. In very rare cases, It might happen that Windows may have a corrupted driver for the speaker. In that case, you can use the Dell support pages to find and download the driver files for your laptop model and setial number. Installung these MIGHT fix the issue. But success is not very likely. Physical damage to the electronics is more likely to be the cause of the problem. You would need electronic repairs or replacement.Good luck.

How do I fix my laptop speakers which have too much bass?

Most modern Windows laptops use audio technology from Realtek — if that doesn’t apply to you, the following won’t work, but if it does, read on.The Realtek software package includes a graphic equalizer feature that allows you to reduce or increase any portion of the audible spectrum. Go to Windows Control Panel, click “Hardware and Sound,” click “Realtek HD Audio Manager” and then the “Sound Effects” tab. On the resulting screen, to the right of the “Reset” button, there is another button with a crude little picture of an an audio equalizer — click on that and adjust to your heart’s content.

How can I fix my Dell laptop computer speakers if they have stopped working?

I would determine first if your problem is truly a hardware issue. Sometimes software is to blame. Otherwise, you might be able to plug external speakers in. If that still doesn't work, then you probably have an issue with the soundcard within the machine. But, you could get a usb external soundcard if all the rest failed.I have taken laptops apart before, and its not fun, I don't recommend it.

Dell Inspiron 3737 Bluetooth problem?

As the title says, I have a Dell Inspiron 17 3737 Laptop. I am currently running Windows 10 but have been having problems with the Bluetooth ever since I upgraded to Windows 8.1. I have a Bluetooth speaker that takes a very long to connect to my laptop (involves a lot of clicking and waiting). I also have a an iPhone 5s which won't connect at all. It will say it's connected on both my laptop and iPhone but when I click my laptop name under the iPhone Bluetooth, it will say pairing unsuccessful and that my laptop is not supported. When I had Windows 8, the Bluetooth worked flawlessly with everything I had connected. I tried downloading several Bluetooth drivers (the most up to date ones) but I was getting the same or similar results. I tried downloading one Bluetooth driver but it told me that I needed to turn on the "wireless Bluetooth switch" or something like that. I don't even know where that is. If anyone knows how to fix this problem or knows what specific type of drivers I need to install for my laptop, it would be greatly appreciated.
