How To Fix My Resolution For Lol

HDTV PC resolution problem?

What connection are you using to connect your computer > tv? if its Svideo or composite video, thats your problem, they suck lol.

I would suggest using DVI or HDMI if you want 720P(1280x720) or 1080P(1920x1080) 16:9 resolutions. also i would suggest using those resolutions and have your laptop extend display not mirror it. because if you mirror it you cant use any resolutions your laptop does not support. also make sure the tv mode is set for NTSC.

It could be your computers video card sucks, and cant display higher resolutions.

How do I configure Dota 2 to run on an old, low spec PC?

There are various ways you can increase performance in Dota 2, lets start with the easy ones. For more advanced users you may want to skip to the bottom.                                 If you are using Windows 7 start with disabling Aero:Right-click on the desktop and select Personalize. Choose the theme Windows 7 BasicIf you havn't already, lower the resolution and disable VSYNC under video settings.Note: Lowering the resolution can hinder game play and might be better to read on and play with some other settings.Next up hit advanced and play with the Advanced settings.Set everything to Low/Off and lower the render quality.Usually that would be enough to get people out of hot water however there are some commands we can use to further optimize our beloved Dota 2.Right Click on Dota 2 in steam and select Properties then Set Launch Options. In the box given I have typed the following to disable mouse acceleration and set Dota 2 to high priority: -noforcemaccel -noforcemspd -useforcedmparms -high -consoleYou are also able to force a different version of directx other than 11 by adding in:-nod3d9ex (DirectX 9)-dxlevel 80 (DirectX 8.0) -dxlevel 81 (DirectX 8.1)Moving right along we will next navigate to where you installed Steam (Mine is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam) and then to the cfg folder SteamAppscommondota 2 betadotacfgMake a copy of the config file and rename it autoexecOpen your newly created autoexec.cfg file with notepad and delete the contents.Replace it with :dota_cheap_water "1"dota_embers "0"cl_globallight_shadow_mode "0"r_deferred_height_fog "0"r_deferred_simple_light "1"r_screenspace_aa "0"There are also some network commands you can change the values of however it is not fool proof and may actually make it worse:rate "40000"   Total bandwidthcl_updaterate "20"   Updates received per second.   20cl_cmdrate " 20"   Updates sent per second.   20    cl_interp "0"   cl_interp_ratio "1"   cl_smoothtime "0.01"   And that is it! Hopefully your 'friends' PC will limp along enough for their next upgrade. For further reading:http://dev.dota2.com/showthread....http://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Dota_2

Fixing lag issues in games like in Diablo 3, LoL, etc through a graphics card?

The issue you are describing is not "lag", its low FPS. Lag is the result of a congested, slow or poor internet connection. Low FPS is an issue with the computer itself not being able to process the data fast enough to draw all the frames, resulting in choppy movements, skipping visuals, etc.

Low FPS can occur from a lot of different components. The processor should be fine if its what you said. Not having enough RAM can also cause low FPS, but the graphics card is usually the culprit. Unfortunately, I can't really recommend one without knowing your budget and your other system components... your motherboard and power supply being the primary concerns. It is also possible you have a good video card and just need to update your drivers.

Ideally, you would want a Radeon HD 7850 or higher for gaming. A 7650 or 7750 is sufficient for most games, but not if you are looking to run newer games at high resolutions. If its an older computer, you could go with the HD 6000 series Radeon cards instead (6850 or higher for high end gaming, 7650 or 7750 for budget gaming)

How do I deal with the Mac resolution issue on League of Legends?

You are trying to change your resolution in the Client, you need to change your resolution in the game, this is done by hitting escape on the keyboard in the middle of a session. Also, because they opted to make the League Client a Window now rather than a fullscreen application, (to allow usage of other apps on the PC while you are waiting in a lobby).

How do I fix my computer when it is giving me Sonic memes?

This is going to be, of necessity, a short answer. Look, I have no idea why you’d ask a question so out-of-left-field bizarro question as this; to my mind there are only two possible reasons why you’re asking this question. Either (a) you computer is infected with the world’s weirdest malware, or (b) no offense intended, but you are playing a silly, adolescent prank, hoping someone will be foolish enough to both respond (guilty) and to give you serious advice (not guilty). So if it’s the former, then install anti-virus software, and be done with it. If it’s the latter, well, no offense, but perhaps you ought to find better things to do to occupy your free time, something of which you clearly have too much.Remember, I am trying very hard to be respectful, but I have always lived at least my adult life with the belief that I respect everyone to a minimum degree, for simply being human and having human rights. But I go no further in my respect for people unless they’ve done something to earn it. You get the former type of respect, but not the latter; not till you’ve earned it.Um… yeah, thanks … I guess, for the um, A2A.Hmmmm.

Same FPS at 1600x900 as 1920x1080, how to fix?

I am getting the same fps at 1600x900 as i am getting with 1920x1080. I mainly play league of legends and when I use my 1600x900 monitor, I get around 80-100 with all 10 characters. I get the same fps when I use my 1920x1080 monitor, I still get the same FPS. My GPU is AMD Radeon HD 6770. I should be getting more FPS on the lower resolution monitor but I'm not. Another note, after about a week or so, the FPS dropped to the current FPS I have. I used to get around 140. How do I fix this issue?

Help! My screen is too big for my monitor lol?

Okay, so I have a Gateway 7200x, and it has the GeForce 8800 GT graphics card in it now instead of the one it came with. Anyway, it works perfectly fine as far as that, but the monitor we were using broke, so we got out our old monitor (It's an IBM monitor, dad got it from work and on the back it says "Type: 7573" on it) and plugged it in. Now the dang screen is too big!!! I used the arrows to make the screen as small as possible vertically, it's not really having any problems horizontally, but it either will show the top or the bottom not both and I'm having to constantly move the screen so I with the buttons so I can do anything. It won't set to any other resolution, it just funks up and that doesn't seem to help much anyway on the few that don't look completely psychopathic. So what do I do to fix it? We can't afford another monitor right now and this is a real pain in the butt!!!!
