How To Fix Netbook Online Video Lag

Acer Aspire One Netbook. Choppy video quality?

I recently bought an Acer Aspire One AO751h-1145 and I've noticed I can't watch videos on hulu or on other sites without it being all choppy. I tried to connect it to a monitor to watch hulu vids on fullscreen and the quality was horrible and lagging. I tried to delete some programs to free up some space on my computer but that didn't help at all. Whats the deal and how can I fix this?

Cant play fifa 2007 in my Acer Aspire One netbook?

Well i also have a Acer Aspire One netbook. And the graphics card is just plain ****. It makes my Desktop's graphics card: ATI Radeon XPress 200, look like the best graphic card there is. As far as i know, netbooks are not meant for gaming even though i tried to, You have to check the PC requirements for Fifa 2007 and check your netbook's specs and if your netbook doesn't meet the minimum requirements, then Fifa 2007 will not work. Even if it could work, it would be very laggy, due to the graphics card and/or the low processor. If you really want to know weather your netbook could run the game or not, just check the PC requirements for it before you play it.
Games that i could play on my netbook was:
-Terraria (very smooth, lags once in a very while)
-Halo Combat Evolve (lag spikes)
-18 Wheels of Steel Across America (laggy when other truck divers are talking to you)
-Binding of Issac Wrath of the Lamb (laggy, but i could play with it)
-Medal of Honor Allied Assault (smooth, very few lag)
-Counter Strike 1.6 (Playable Lag)
-Portal 1 (lag)
-Happy Wheels (lag depends on map size)

My Acer Aspire One D250 netbook lags a lot when I try to edit Google docs in Firefox. What must be the main reason?

The description of your question itself pretty much covers up the answer. You’re unknowingly aware what is causing the issue, clearly from the screenshot / from the specifications you’ve posted above. The Acer Aspire ONE D250 has a weak Intel Atom N270 clocked at 1.60Ghz, which probably might not be the issue here, sure it is a bottleneck (you’ll notice a slowdown when you stream videos online, like say, on YouTube). Neither is the free storage space. Nor the network speed (as you’ve clearly mentioned). What actually lags you here is the RAM. The laptop uses a 2GB 533 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM, which is pretty slow considering today’s standards. Moreover, the screenshot says that you’re trying to run multiple tabs on Firefox. If my memory is correct, a 64-bit version of Firefox on 1 tab should use around ~100 megabytes. The system needs some amount of memory to run, add to that another 800 megabytes of Firefox. It simply can’t handle that much. SO, it starts using your disk as virtual memory, more like swap memory, in order to continue running. That creates a lot of slowdown overall on your system. I’m not saying you’d get a complete resurrection once you upgrade your RAM (not possible to upgrade in this case, but let’s be hypothetical). Then, your CPU would bottleneck you. And even if you manage to upgrade that, then the 945 would. And do I even need to say about the 945?PS: I’d love to be corrected wherever I had made mistakes, if any.

How can my netbook not run halo combat evolved without lag on lowest settings?

Your specs are pretty bad but can run halo
I played it on the Xbox and PC and when ever i was looking at a big fight on both xbox and PC
there was alot of lag thats just how halo is
or its your processor that really low for your only 6 hertz above the minimum requirements
and your computer is just for simple tasks like video editing and surfing the web not gaming
So windows 7's minimum for processors is 1GHz so its using 1 Gigahertz but the minimum for halo is
733MHz so the problem is that your processor speed it so low to handle halo and windows 7 a once
You only have 1.6GHz your OS is using 1GHz and halo is using 733MHz you do the math
so i recommend Razer Game Booster
Its turns off anything that uses to much memory and speed when playing a game and increases the speed i have it. it works pretty damn good

My requirements are lag-free browsing, videos, music, documentation, and normal games. What should I buy: an iPad Mini, or a Netbook under 20k?

iPad mini unless you wanna do some development work.

What causes videos to stutter when playing from the hard drive on Windows 10?

Q: What causes videos to stutter when playing from the hard drive on Windows 10?A: A few things might be slowing down your computer.HDD TCAL (Thermal Calibration). Every few seconds (but depends on the manufacturer and model), your hard drive has to get its read/write heads realigned with data tracks because of changes in the thermal expansion of the platters. This causes a momentary delay in any read/write operation. Better hdds will have better caching algorithms so you won’t notice it. You will also notice that manufacturers also have a special line of “video” drives which minimize TCAL delays. However, as a general rule of thumb, the longer the read/write process (as in a video), the more delays you will notice because a video on the hard drive is a continuous stream of bits that the hdd must interrupt eventually to do a TCAL.Background processes. You may have background processes which not only eat CPU time but worse yet — access the hard drive. CPU interruptions cause problems on internet and hdd videos. HDD interruptions cause problems only on hdd stored videos.Internet interruption. If a video is from the internet, any interruption in the bit stream from the provider, to the ISP, to you, will cause a stutter.
