How To Fix Netflix Errors On Windows 8

How to fix NetFlix errors on Windows 8?

I'm using a Windows 8.1 desktop computer (less than two months old) and I'm having trouble with videos. When I try to use Netflix on Chrome the video only loads to 20%, then I get Error Code N8202. If I try to play a video on YouTube that's more than a couple minutes long it fails to load. Some videos and GIFs fail to load or are really slow to load on other websites too.

On IE, Netflix stops loading at 24% and I get Error code H7031-1105.

Videos and Netflix worked perfectly the first month I had my computer. But suddenly one day, it just stopped working. I hadn't changed anything. It has been about 3 weeks now, and I've tried everything I can, but can't get Netflix and YouTube to work properly.

The problem is not with my account because it works fine on my Windows 8.1 RT tablet.

I've tried fixing MS Sliverlight, but that hasn't helped.

PLEASE HELP ME

How to fix Netflix DMR Error - N8156 6023?

I have this old computer that had developed some glitches and to fix them i ended up having to reinstall its Windows XP.

Everything works now - Except Netflix

I noticed that on the reinstall some things looked different then before and checked out the XP version i used....its SP2.

Im pretty sure the previous version was SP3. Netflix worked fine b4 reinstall.

So i went to set up Netflix, which of course requires you install Microsoft Silverlight.

After that was done, the movie looked like it was going to start...but kicked out this error message.

" Whoops, something went wrong....Digital Right Management (DMR) Error. etc etc....
Error code N8156 6023"

Their trouble shooting link didnt help and neither has the couple things ive dug up on Google.

Yes....ive closed out and restarted the browser and computer, also uninstalled and reinstalled both browser and silverlight, and tried using another browser...nothing.

Netflix did says that this error and silverlight are related...supposedly.

You know whats kinda odd...in firefox - Add on menu. There are two Plug-Ins showing called:
"Microsoft DRM-Netscape Network Object and DRM Store Netscape plugin"
- Possible conflict ??

Me..im thinkin that XP - SP2 is more the culprit.
- but nuthin i can do about that besides finding out a cure.

And thus i turn to the experts at YA !

Equipment: HP Mini 1000
OS: Windows XP - SP2
Browser: Firefox 52.7.3 - And Internet Explorer 6.0
Silverlight - latest version.

Thanks !

Cheers !

How do I log off of Netflix with a Windows 8 App?

You don't need to log off, just close the Netflix App on your Start Screen. This will turn off the Netflix app.

How do I fix the error code 0x80070422 in Windows 10 store?

If the Windows Update service not running is what is causing this issue in your case, you can free yourself of it and restore your ability to download applications from the Windows Store by simply configuring the service to start automatically. To do so, you need to:Configure the Windows Update service to start automatically:Press the Windows Logo key + R to open a RunType services.msc into the Run dialog and press Enter to launch the Services Manager.Scroll down the list of services, locate the Windows Update service and double-click on it to open its Properties.Open the dropdown menu in front of Startup type: and click on Automatic to select it.Click on Apply.Click on OK.Close the Services Manager.Restart the computer. This problem can also be resolved by creating and using a .BAT file designed to make sure that the Windows Update service and all other services that need to be running to successfully download and install applications from the Windows Store are not only running but are also configured to start at boot. In order to use this solution, you need to:Use a .BAT file to fix the problem:Press the Windows Logo key + R to open a RunType notepad into the Run dialog and press Enter to launch a fresh instance of Notepad.Type (or copy and paste) the following text into the fresh instance of Notepad:sc config wuauserv start= autosc config bits start= autosc config DcomLaunch start= autonet stop wuauservnet start wuauservnet stop bitsnet start bitsnet start DcomLaunchPress Ctrl + S.Open the dropdown menu in front of Save as type: and click on All Files to select it.Type repair.bat into the File name: field.Navigate to where you want the .BAT file to be saved.Click on Save.Navigate to where you saved the .BAT file, locate it, right-click on it and click on Run as administrator. The .BAT file will open an elevated Command Prompt, execute each of the required commands and then close the elevated Command Prompt, so all you need to do is wait.

Netflix app windows 8 error: failed to open graphics driver?

I have been having a problem with my netflix app. I have a dell inspiron 15r se 7520 with windows 8 64 bit. But when I accessed the netflix app, it said that I had to update my graphics card driver. I went onto Dell.com and installed 2 drivers under the option for video. I also updated the operating system but I had the same problem. The two drivers I installed were:
Video_AMD_W8_X00_A02_Setup-RH19N_ZPE
APP_WiDi_W8_X00_A02_Setup-6PWFT_ZPE
Is there a driver I am missing?
I used a proxy server so I could watch movies in France, but I am an Irish resident, could the proxy interfere with the app?

Multiple Netflix Tabs Error!?

It could be a process running in the background called "plugin-container.exe". Kill it and see what happens (note* if you end that process while a Netflix movie is playing or starting (or any other Flash object is running such as games (like Angry Birds), it will "crash" the player so just click reload).
The process is a necessary service to use Flash, but it will start back up on its own.

Another thing to try is disabling all browser plugins and then re-enabling them one by one to see if one of them might be the cause (Unity Web Player perhaps? Just a guess).

If that doesn't work, I advise you to change your Netflix password - someone else may have access to it.

How do you sign out of Netflix?

Up in the top right hand corner of the screen (looks different on tablet, computer, etc.), there is a dropdown menu. Click on the menu, and when the menu appears, you'll see a "Sign out" option. Unless you're signing off a public computer or one that belongs to someone else, however, I don't believe you need to do this any longer. If you're switching back and forth between your own devices, Netflix automatically signs you out of one when you open Netflix on another. You used to get an error message about using too many devices, if you had streaming limitations and tried to sign in on one before logging off another; Netflix fortunately eliminated this issue.
