Should I quit my job to focus on school?

Okay, based on personal experience here's what I think:

How important is your GPA? That is, will you need your GPA further down the line (to get into Grad school, for example) or are you going straight to the workforce?

Example from my life:
I wanted to go to grad school to get my master's degree. Obviously my GPA was very important and so I didn't work so I could focus on making sure my GPA and writing samples were perfection. Tada! I got into grad school and am now finishing up my master's.
My husband had no dreams of further education adn wanted to work as soon as possible. Employers very very rarely ask for your GPA in school. So...he concentrated instead on his full-time job knowing that the experience gained there was more important than the GPA. He just needed the diploma for credentials.

So basically...you have to ask yourself what your goals in life are and what's the easiest way for you to acheive those goals.

Oh and by the way...I ended up taking loans to pay for school which are now all coming due...OUCH!!!

How can I get my 7 year old to focus in school?

he doesn't have to be hyper--just have difficulty concentrating--what does the teacher suggest?

How adderall help you focus in school?

Adderall wont do anything to your health, it does make you concentrate though... You will feel good if you take it, and be able to focus on your test more... unless you dont have ADD, then you will go crazy... You wont be able to focus at all, you will be all over the place. Ive taken Adderall, just study for your test. Dont cheat.

Why can't I focus on school anymore?

I used to be bright at school and then I started getting all the symptoms that you are telling me. Its annoying, Im watching all of the people who were less intellegent than me suddenly getting A;s whilst Im getting bad grades.

I've found that it was caused by stress, because im prone to anxiety and depression. I found that the best way to make everything better was:

Get more sleep, whatever you do.. its important. Make sure that you are waking up bright eyed every morning. You need to work out how many hours sleep you need to feel awake... it may take some time, but it will be worth it in the end. Remember: over sleeping will make you tired as well as under sleeping.

Eat breakfast, but dont fill yourself up everytime you eat, it will make you tired.

Dont eat unhealthy crap all the time, your energy levels will plummet.

Drink lots of water, and if you dont like water, drink squash.

As far as the learning aspect is concerned:

Study for 30 mins.. take a break for 10 mins... study again for 30 mins...

dont study too much in one go... you'll feel tired and wont concentrate

Ive also felt that forcing myself to study helps too.. and what i mean by that is... go to the library, sit at a desk and study, or stay by after school in a classroom and study there, that way you wont get distracted.. also, you can ask a teacher to help you aswell so you stay alert.

it hard at first, but you muct be strong...

if youre ever feeling stressed, dont worry about it. Take deep breaths and think positively... and carry on studying and having fun :)

good luck :)
