It's too late. You cannot skip grades in high school, and that is what you proposing to do. In high school, you must take classes and earn credits in order to graduate. If you got held back, you're now in the correct grade for you. I notice you didn't mention academics, the ONLY reason students are moved ahead grades after the first few.

Like the answers above said, usually it's a car shuttle on a fast river -- on a fairly slow river we just turn around and paddle back. Another option that works in our area where there are a lot of Rails to Trails bike paths that follow the rivers is that we unload the boats and one person drives the car downriver and parks it at the take-out and then pedals an old mountain bike on the trail back to where the boats are and chains it to a tree. When we're done, we just drive back to the put-in and retrieve the bike. This takes longer than having a two-car shuttle but it's a handy option when you only have one car.
