How To Get Blue Paint Off White Car

Can you paint a black car white?

Yes you can, but changing the color of a car is a lot of work to do it properly, you have to remove most of the interior panels and it's easier to pull the engine if you want to do the engine bay. For a really good job your probably into the $7000.00 + range, If you can do a lot of it yourself it would save you some money then just get someone to paint it.

How to get white car (paint), white again?

I noticed that when I use Rubbing Compound on the surface of my car, this brownish color that's coated all over my car, comes off when I use rubbing compound, to restore that bright white shine. But it's really hard doing it by hand, and I don't have money to buy a porter cable or buffer. Is there any easier products to use, that don't require the excessive rubbing? Thanks!

How to remove blue dye from a white car?

What you need is a graffiti remover...these are actually made to remove inks and dyes.

The only graffiti remover I can vouch for is Krud Kutter Graffiti Remover, since it is the only one I have ever used personally.

What did not work for me: Hair Spray, Rubbing Alcohol, Nail Polish Remover, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, Hand Sanitizer, and even WD-40. But the Krud Kutter did work.

Spray Krud Kutter onto a clean rag and just wipe the ink right off. It's that simple.

Krud Kutter is specifically made to remove ink, so it actually works. It's a little pricey, but you'll be surprised how often you use it.

You can buy Krud Kutter Graffiti Remover at Target, Home Depot, and most hardware stores.

You can also buy it over the Internet:

And I strongly recommend that you do NOT use Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Magic Erasers are very abrasive and will scratch your car's paint.

HELP! How can I get blue ink stains off the hood of my white car?

Some neighborhood kids found a broken pen outside and got it all over their hands and also the hood of my clean white Ford Escort. The ink is blue and is in several locations on the hood of my car. There are different degrees of the stain: smears, streaks and large spots. It's been less than 24 hours, but it has been there overnight. I didn't notice it until this morning. I've already gotten a bucket of soapy water and a car-cleaning sponge and have scrubbed vigorously.. I don't want to ruin the finish or the paint on my car, but I do want those unsightly stains gone. Any ideas?

How do I take a paint scratch off my car?

My boyfriend let me borrow his car and i was fine driving it until I parked. arggggghh! I hit a huge blue dumster used to clean construction and it left a blue scratch from my elbow to the wrist and his car is white. I feel so bad because we have to go to an event on wednesday in downtown and it looks horrible. Is there wipe off solutions that really work? i know nothing about cars.

Will painter's blue tape or blue duct tape harm a car's paint or finish? (or is there a better kind?)

Painter’s masking tape and duct tape are two very different things: the adhesive on masking tape is purposely very light and meant to come off easily; duct tape sticks very firmly, by contrast. Blue Painter’s tape (better than the tan kind of masking tape, but more expensive) will not stick to or damage your car’s existing paint (unless it’s very fresh!) as long as you don’t leave the tape on for a long time (e.g., several weeks or months, in which case it may be more difficult to remove without a solvent like lighter fluid).

How can I remove black ink from my car paint?

One of the most practical tricks I've found is a product called Goof-Off. It will remove latex paint, tar, inks, and numerous other things from car paint without damaging the car paint. I prefer it to an abrasive product as it only works on the contaminant. If it does not come off that way, a rubbing compound might be necesary, but with care not to take off too much.

Why are white cars cheaper?

Bought new, a white car, will most likely cost exactly the same as any other color of the same car. Exceptions would be if there is a surcharge for metallic, pearlcoat, or any other special paint characteristics of that white color. Incidentally, white generally costs the manufacturer more to produce, because it requires more coats of paint, base, and other coats during the paint process, though they don’t always pass that extra cost on to the buyer of a white car. Instead that extra cost is shared across the entire model range, regardless of color.Bought used (pre-owned), white cars (especially luxury makes and models) are often sold at a premium in comparison to other colors. There is no specific rhyme or reason to this, but if you just look at popularity and demand, WHITE is the MOST or NEXT MOST sought after color in every car class except convertibles/sports cars (Silver, Black, and dark blue beat out white in this category in that order). As someone who is color blind, I don’t really see the allure of white cars. This is coming from from someone who bought what they thought was a black car (only to find out 5 months later that it was actually a plum color called Malbec Black Metallic) and also bought a car in the delicate shade of baby poop brown (the car was flawless and quite a rare trim — color was the least of my concerns!!)

Is it legal to paint my car like a police car?

This applies for the United States:You are welcome to paint your car any way you wish — within limits. You may not use any logos or words that would falsely indicate that you are a law enforcement officer. So you’re welcome to paint it with black nose and tail with white doors (or is it vice-versa?), but you cannot put the word “POLICE” on your car or put a mock sheriff’s star on the door. You can install a light bar on top, but only with amber beacons, no red or blue beacons.I am not a lawyer. The above is not legal advice.

Remove pen ink from car paint?

Rubbing alcohol. I have given this answer on another question and was ignored, but if it's ball point pen ink, it works. Shouldn't harm the paint at all.
