Can cosmetologists give esthetic treatments?
Esthetics is just a branch off of cosmetology. Cosmetologists can do everything an esthetician can. However, further licensing is needed to perform any kind of massage on the back. Cosmetologists/estheticians can massage the face, neck, top of shoulders, arms, hands, lower leg, and feet only. More schooling and a license will also be needed for laser therapy for both cosmetologists and estheticians. As for facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, mask therapy, body wraps, tweezing, waxing, and makeup, YES, we can do them all.
Does anyone know a way to treat and prevent hyperpigmentation?
i have a problem with hyperpigmentation....scars not fully healing any blemish automatically becomes a HUGE dark spot. I need to figure out a way to treat and try to prevent my hyperpigmentation. Does anyone know how????
