Why does Apple include an FM radio chip in iPhones if it does not wish to activate them?

It’s simply because Broadcom sells them as a package. BCM WiFi/Bluetooth single chip solutions used in Apple devices usually include an FM tuner. However it does not mean Apple can enable them. The FM tuner requires support circuitry to work. On iPhone devices, they are simply never installed. iOS device circuit diagrams are all over the internet, just download a copy and see for yourselves.iPhone 4 is confirmed to have an FM-capable WiFi chip, however it is also confirmed that the FM circuitry is NOT installed. The chip pinout list them as NC, not connected, as the diagram shows below.iPhone 5 and above do not have FM circuitry listed on their WiFi modules.

Do you like the IOS 7?

They're playing catch-up.

New features:

Notification center accessible from lockscreen. This has been available on Android since the beginning if you don't have a security pattern/pin on your lockscreen.

Power menu or center or whatever they're gonna call it. *cough* quick toggles *cough*

Wallpaper thing just makes up for no live wallpapers.

Multitasking. Do I really have to start on this.

Updated Siri. Again, playing catch-up to Google Now.

Fullscreen browser and easy tabbing. This has been on the Android browser and Chrome since Gingerbread.

Time and place organized photos. Again, from Android.

iTunes radio. Also copied from Google Music All Access.

Air drop. Makes up for no NFC.

Call blocking. It's not in Android, but Samsung implemented it into TouchWiz with the Note 2 release.

So really, there's no new features. Apple say they're all 'new', but really, they're just new to iOS. They have been around for ages on Android.
