How To Get Yourself To Be The Best You Can Be

Best way to make yourself throw up?

the best way is to use your 3 fingers and go for it, you don't have to stick them right down your throat to get the gag reflex. I used this technique once when i was eating potato chips and one was stuck in my throat giving me that aweful sharp pain. Good luck.

What is the best thing you can ever do to yourself?

Well this is really cool! The best thing I can do to myself is make myself really happy. Really Happy irrespective of my surroundings. Now let's see how I can really do that. Well here are a few points I can do easily :# Stop thinking too much about something that brings tension and is not at all productive. (well I mentioned the word unproductive here as taking a little bit of tension for productive activities is actually good. It helps us to be disciplined.)# Give myself a small treat whenever I feel I have achieved something, no matter how small it is. (a small treat just for myself)# A quality time with myself. Well we get so busy sometimes thinking about others and the whole world that we often tend to forget ourselves and as a result our inner soul gets unhappy.# Go and travel places alone. Sometimes all you need is your own company to make yourself happier like never before. It's only then that you realize how you can be your perfect partner and not rely on anybody else.# Find your calling, whatever fascinates you, give it sometime... You would certainly feel great.Try transferring your energy at positive places.... And just be happy... Because then only when you carry a smile on your face, you would be able to spread it. :)And thanks for asking this question... Only when I saw it, I realized how much I really need to stop worrying about things around me which I cannot control. Sometimes it's good to pamper yourself and be ignorant towards negative vibes around you and be happy the way you are and stop thinking about anything the other thinks about. Stay cheerful :)

What is the best way to invest in yourself if you have $10,000 to spend?

If I gave you £10,000, what would you do with it?You deserve a holiday. South of France? Hawaii? Or a new car. Perhaps you could put a deposit down for a house?I know what I’d do. I’d invest it. Not in a company or a fund or stocks. In myself. In my education. In my development. I’d do as Lord Chesterfield did for his son, and put my money into my own improvement:“Under the head of improvement, I mean the best books, and the best masters, cost what they will.”Out of those two things, the best books and the best people, the best books are cheaper. You can open up Amazon and buy books that channel the learning and experience of some of the most intelligent, accomplished and interesting people ever to exist. When it comes to books, emulate this Sarah Andersen comic:To live doesn’t require much extravagance. A roof over your head, enough to eat, enough to see your friends, enough to look after yourself and do your job. Not much. But allow yourself one expense. Your education.Spend as much as you need to. I have no problem spending hundreds on books. And I’d have no qualms spending thousands to learn from the best in the world. The reason why is simple. Your car or your house or your possessions don’t determine the value you provide to the world. They have no impact on how good and skilled a person you are. They don’t give you an advantage. Your education does. It’s the only consistent advantage. Your willingness to learn, adapt and evolve faster than everyone else is the only thing that no one can take away from you. Generally, doubling down in the face of uncertainty is a bad strategy. Putting all your weight behind one option doesn’t leave much room for error. But when it comes to your education, the only effective strategy is to back it with the full extent of your resources. If that book will help you become better, buy it. If that person can teach you something, pay the money to learn from them.£10,000 spent on yourself is not selfish or stupid. It’s the best investment you’ll ever make.

What's the best way to force yourself to get up in the morning?

Before sleeping make a decision in your mind that you have to get up early. Think of the advantages of early rising when you are in the bed. No other thought should enter your mind. You will be surprisingly awoke by your inner "You". This is more accurate that alarm or any other measure. You must give up bed immediately when your eyes open in the early morning. This is best and tested way in my opinion.

What's the best health care you can buy for yourself?

I am assuming you are asking about a health care insurance policy. If you are asking where to get the best health care treatment don't bother to read all of this! There are a couple insurance companies that offer affordable health insurance. You customize your plan by selecting the amount of the annual deductible, and whether or not you want to add policy riders. Typically, you can add a policy rider to include maternity coverage, a rider to include mental health and a rider to include prescription drug coverage. You can include all three of these riders or choose just one or two. Plans with a low deductible (i.e. $250) are more expensive than plans with deductibles of $1000 or more.

If you are not planning on getting pregnant exclude the maternity rider as this will save you money on your plan. If you don't need mental health coverage exclude that as well. Whether or not to include prescription coverage is a difficult decision because it is an expensive benefit but brand name prescription drugs are very expensive and you don't know when you might need a prescription.

When selecting a company or companies in which to obtain quotes, stick with a well known company with an A+ or A rating such as Anthem or Aetna. Do not purchase individual health insurance from MEGA Insurance. They claim to provide affordable individual health insurance but they have so many restrictions that all or most of your claims will be denied. When you obtain a quote, review the company's in-network (or preferred providers) so you know whether or not there are in-network physicians in your area. Also, if you have any pre-existing health conditions, find out how long you have to have the policy before claims relating to the pre-existing condition are covered.

In additional to the plan design benefits, the cost of your policy will be depended upon your age, gender, weight and whether you are a smoker or a non-smoker.

Here are some examples from Anthem.

Male, 41 years old, non-smoker, no pre-existing conditions, average height and weight:

Deductible $250 with prescription coverage but without maternity or mental health is $219 per month.

Deductible $1000 with prescription coverage but without maternity or mental health is $147 per month.

What does 'Be the best version of yourself' mean?

“Be the best version of yourself” … Hmm.. Firstly it depends on what version you are currently right now. Are you doing anything currently that you are not proud of ? Are you forced or naively “abetted” to perform tasks just because it is easy or beneficial to you ? And.. and .. do you see yourself trying to pursue things that could bring happiness in a non-materialistic manner ? Do you or least of all are you willing to, have the determination and the “No” power to change your course during the cross paths of your life. If yes, then you have just answered your question. Still not getting it ?? You are already on the path of the “better version”. All you need to do is give a shit about that. That’s not the end, as many people think so. We could be limited, but our potential is not. Resources are present everywhere, just throw some light out and you would automatically have the way. Coming back, again look upon yourself. Have you achieved something that you wanted to before applying the tools of becoming the “better version” ? If yes, there is still much to do. Repeat the process. Set Higher goals. By higher, I don’t mean climbing the Mt. Everest… Just being ironic… Or am I? Its similar to machine learning, keep on searching, learning, training but don’t over fit. That’s it.Cheers

What’s the best thing you can do for yourself right after you get fired?

On the day you are fired, apply for unemployment insurance. There is a cutoff date each week, and after that date an additional week elapses before your first check arrives.Take a couple of days to normalize your feelings, drink, rave, kick the dog, whatever it takes to get over the shock. Know that it will take a few days to overcome the intense sense of rejection, no matter what you thought beforehand.Next Monday, start looking for work. Be organized. Write down jobs and contacts. Make notes. Make looking for work your new full time job. That’s the only way you will get an offer in a reasonable amount of time, and it gives you something to do instead of feeling depressed.Sleep in an extra hour, but don’t lay in bed all morning. Shower and get dressed. Do the things you did when you were working. There are two reasons for this. First, it will help you feel normal. Second, once you get lazy, it’ll be that much harder when you have to go back.Notwithstanding working at finding a job like a full time job, consider taking a vacation if your bank account will support it. You remember when you were working, saying, “I sure wish I had time for a vacation.” Well now you have time.Unless your finances are in ruins, it’s OK to get those projects you’ve been thinking about underway, even if they cost some money. You won’t have time for them when you get your next job.
