Where can I find a replacement charger for my Philips QT4005/15 trimmer?
Few months ago I lost my Philips QT 4005 charger. Tried a lot in local shops but didn't find any same pin charger. Then I tried a juagd. I made a jugad charger with my old Nokia (the famous patli pin vala charger)…. removed it's pin…. and made my own pin by cutting two pieces of half inch from used pen refill… (Please see the picture attached)….joined the wires to refill openings as shown in picture… Used cello tape to bind everythingAnd it worked well…charged my trimmer everytime I needed to charge :)Some people asked for procedure..Below is step-by-step procedureEdit :I made it with the help of a pen refill…. see our aim in this is to connect a 4–5 V DC supply to our trimmer…generally mobile chargers supply 3.7 -5 V DC supply which fits our required range. Now procedure is as follows (u don't have to burn 400 bucks for this :) )Get an old but working mobile chargers remove it connecting pin and remove plastic coating to connect. ( I used old Nokia patli pin ka charger :) )Now get an empty ball pen refill ( I used cello butterflies as it gives good fit ) see the attached pic.Now cut off two one centimetre pieces from this refill.Insert the shove portion of into each piece of refill and make it stick with a cello tape.Insert each refill piece ino the trimmer side connector.And finally you get your trimmer charger.Thank you all :-)
Nissan Altima 06' Car Charger Replacement? ?
I have a Nissan Altime 2006, and I usually charge my cell phone within the car using the car charger thing. It's not a cigarette lighter thing, just a charger socket thing. Problem is, it stopped working. A fairly common problem I hear after much use. Good news is I hear it's not expensive to replace. I headed to Autozone to find the replacement part but could only find a part that went of to 2000 Altima models. My questions are: Where can I find the appropiate one for my 2006 altima? & How do I replace it? (It seems like it may be tougher than I though getting out the non working volt charger thing and putting in the new one. Argh! :]
Can I use this as a Charger replacement?
I lost my Philips Norelco G370 Trimmer charger, adapter whatever you want to call it. It just so happens I found an old Sanyo adapter. I don't even know what its original use was. But anyways I wanted to ask here first before I plugged it in. It fits perfectly I'm just worried about the voltage and watts, I do not feel like getting electrocuted or causing damage to my outlet/house, and/or trimmer. The trimmer has a hole and next to it it says 2 W, 1.6 V DC. The Sanyo adapter says INPUT: AC 120 V/0.2 A 60 Hz Output: DC 5.1 V 800 mA. Based on this information, can anyone conclude whether it'd be safe for me to plug this in or not?

The end of my laptop charger broke several days ago. I am trying to find a good deal for a replacement charger, but don't know where to start looking. The manufacturer's website price is a little ridiulous. I am just wondering if anyone has any suggestions of where to buy a new one on the internet. If this helps my computer is an HP pavillion dv2500, with the service tag of dv2620us. Check on EBAY, there are dozens of drill battery chargers listed every day. New and used. The Craftsman 12. v rechargeable drill is a rebranded Skil. It was made by Skil and Sears put their name on it. As a safety feature, Craftsman chargers are designed to burn out if the battery heats over a set temperature. Charging builds heat in the battery, the more amp hours the battery has, the hotter the battery gets. So if you buy a better battery with more mili-amp hours, so it last longer, it will burn out your charger when you try to charge it. Better quality chargers like Dewalt or Makita have circuits in them that shut the charger down until the battery cools and then finishes charging. Check the cross comparison charts and find a better brand compatable charger and get it so you can use any strength battery. ps. there is an aftermarket repair kit for your charger. It will upgrade your charger so it will not burn out if you use a better battery with it. The aftermarket kit is easy to instal if you have a soldering gun.
