How To Lose 30 Pounds In 1 Month

How can I lose 30 pounds in 1 month?

I weigh 130 pounds. All the people at my school are like tooth picks. I wouldn't consider myself fat but I would like to be skinnier. School starts back in a month. How can i lose 30 pounds before school starts. Please help me!

How could I lose 30-40 pounds in a month?

Losing that much in one month is not to healthy. But if you want an honest answer, I lost 41 pounds in 30 days by eating only 2 small servings of meat per day (handful portions), taking the recommended dose of ripped fuel(from wal-mart) and drinking only water(about 6 liters a day).I was also working ful-time and watched no TV. This can lead to gaining more weight back though.THIS IS VERY UNHEALTHY. I recommend that you take your time, do a cardio workout 20 minutes a day 3 times a week and use the availible online calculators to Keep an eye on your calories. Intake less than you use+exercise=lose weight.

How to lose 30 pounds in a month.?

Exercise every day.

Seven days a week choose a cardio routine such as walking, swimming
or jogging.

Work up to 60 minutes per day, but you
can start at any amount. Even if you can only walk
10 minutes today, you can slowly increase the
amount each day.

Six days a week you should also
do a weight training workout out that you can alternate each day. Legs one day then arms, next
back, etc.
Always alternate your weight training so
that you are not working out the same area of your
body twice. Excellent exercises include squats, planks, push ups, crunches, and lunges.

EATING - Change your eating habits today.

AVOID - Junk food, fast food, high fructose corn

If you follow this rule I am
sure you can lose 30 pounds in a couple of months.

Good Luck!

Can I lose 30 pounds in one month?

Congratulations on your resolve to lose weight. I know personally, what it is like to lose weight. It is a time consuming experience which requires persistence and diligence. I alone lost 50 pounds from last October till now so I think I could help you answer your question.

I did a ton of research on how to most effectively lose weight when I was on my big weight loss kick, and basically, what you are doing is NOT the most effective way to lose weight... seriously. There is also NO possible way to spot reduce, or to lose fat in a specific area of your body. All you can do is eat healthier and exercise. These are my five tips to a better looking, healthier you:

1. Drink half your weight in ounces of water, per day.
2. Get your daily source of calcium.
3. Eat whole/fresh foods, staying around 2,000 calories a day. Generally, however, when you eat whole/fresh foods you don't need to worry about calorie counting.
4. Exercise 30-40 min. of intense cardio 4-5 days a week (Reading is a life saver when you are on a machine).
5. Weightlifting and strength training 30min - 1 hour 4-5 days a week (Create multiple music playlists to listen to).

Because you are limiting your caloric intake so severely (only 500 a day!?), you are more than likely putting your body in starvation mode, which will cause it to store everything you consume as fat. Sure, you will lose weight, but it won't be fat, it will be bone, muscle, and fat.

However, because you want to lose it in one month, I have one final suggestion: That is the Atkins diet. With the Atkins diet you are not limiting how much you eat, but what you eat. You cannot eat any carbs, but can eat as much protein and fat as you want. What this does is put your body in a state of "Ketosis," when your body is basically burning just your body fat and nothing else to keep you energized. On this diet you could lose up to 10 pounds a week. However, when you are done losing the weight, make sure you SLOWLY introduce carbs back into your diet, and start an exercise routine as well or you will gain it all back in no time.

I didn't go on the atkins diet because it was a little to difficult for me to follow, but it works none the less. Happy weight loss!!

I need to lose 30 pounds in 6 months!!?

Think about it, that's only 5lbs a month.

One pound of fat equals 3500 calories. So you'd need to lose just a little over a pound per week.

The "trick" to weight loss is using more calories than you consume. There are three ways to do this.

#1 Consume less calories. (eat less)
#2 Use more calories (exercise)
#3 Consume less calories AND exercise

Obviously, #3 will be most effective. However, any of them will work theoretically.

If you could eliminate 4000 calories from your diet each week, then that's all you'd have to do. Second choice would be to exercise 60minutes per day, thus "using" more calories than you are taking in -- the trick with this is to make sure you're NOT eating more and exercise WILL make you hungrier! Third and final choice: you could eliminate 2000 calories every week and exercise (fast walk/jog) 30mins per day.

Hope this helps. Good luck!

Do you think I can lose 30 pounds in 3 months?

I decided to lose my extra weight.

I am about 10 pounds overweight, but I would like to lose 30 to get back to my “normal” weight.

I have been eating 1000 calories a day, only healthy food and no sugar.

I have been walking 3-4 miles everyday.

And I have been lifting weights a few times a week.

I am not pregnant or breastfeeding.

I have been doing this for 10 days and have lost 6 pounds.

Do you think I can lose 30 MORE pounds in 3 months?
