Why am i loosing weight on my legs and none on my stomach??!!!!?

i really want to get a toned stomach and that was the whole purpose of my diet and workout routine but instead my legs have gotten slimmer and my stomach is still fat. i hate my body right now! can any one give me some tips or tell me what i should change so that i loose fat around my stomach more efficiently?

im 5'5" and i weigh 130 i lost 5 pounds so far...
i have been running the treadmill for 30 mins everyday and doing crunches but for some reason my legs have gotten really thin i hate it!
oh im also drinking green tea because i hear that helps..

Whoever told you that you don’t lose weight from exercise is wrong.You do lose weight from exercise. Exercise requires energy. Energy requires burning fuel.
