How To Make Sound Come From Pc When Connecting It To Led Hdtv

Can I connect speakers from a headphone out of a led TV?

You should not connect speakers to the headphone out as Speakers are typically 8 or 4 ohms and headphone are 32 or 16 ohms and that is what internal amplifier expects at headphone out.You should not even connect A/V in or Line In of General audio amplifier to headphone out socket due to impedance and level mismatch.Typically there is headphone amplifier IC inside which gets ddamages due to wrong connection, it does not damage the main audio amp driving internal speakers though. Also the fidelity of sound is not as good.Headphone amplifier damage does not occure immediately as the IC has various protections but over a period they do fail along with IC.If this was not the case manufacturer would not have provided Audio Out RCA terminals separately for amplified speaker connectivity. TVs especially LCD LED come with all sort of input output interfaces , so make use of right interface.

How can I connect computer speakers to my Samsung LED TV?

This is very dependent on both what kind of TV you have. Some TV’s have a headphone jack (which is likely what your computer speakers use) and you can plug it right in there. If your TV audio out uses standard RCA connections (Red and White), then you might be able to get away with a Y-cable. If not, you’ll have to have some sort of processing device to take the audio output of the TV and convert it to a 3.5mm headphone jack. Any receiver could do this for you, as well as any computer with the appropriate Line-in connection. The key part is knowing how your TV exports audio.

How to connect Logitech Z506 to VIZIO E3D420VX for surround sound.?

The 3.5mm jack is analog audio so you will get 2.1 and that is all. If you get any sort of "surround sound" it will be simulated.

It is one of the peeves I have about Logitech advertising these speakers as being able to be hooked up to TV's and implying true surround sound. It isn't going to happen. These speakers need a 5.1 analog output device in order to have true 5.1 surround sound. The most common device is a surround sound card on a PC.

Or you can buy one of these digital audio to 5.1 converters and see if that will work for you:

How do I connect F&D 5.1 speakers to Sony Bravia TV?

Hi,The panel of the TV shown here is is also “INPUT”.So basically your TV does not have a 5.1 out that is identical to our Audio system’s input panel as shown here. The TV either has a headphone jack for OUTPUT OR an Optical Audio Out.If you note, the 5.1 input on your audio system mentions DVD. Usually DVD players have discreet Outputs for 5.1 channels. You can use a Stereo to RCA Cable like the one below to connect your TV’s headphone out to the audio system’s RED/WHITE “AUX” jack.By doing this, you will allow your audio amplifier to split the 2 channels of audio into 5.1 channels.Image Source: Random Google Search that led to this page: 1 5 Meter 2RCA Male To 3 5mm Male Stereo Cable GreyHope this helps.
