How to make wounds heal faster?

I use Benzoyl Peroxide "Acne" Medication to heal wounds faster.

A small dab on a small wound and it heals 10X faster than if I leave it alone.

I have VERY sensitive skin and I don't respond well to most topical treatments but "Oxy" Benzoyl Peroxide products, or their store brand equivalent, are what work for me.

Oh, and using Salicylic Acid Body Wash in the shower helps as well, but use one in the morning, the other at night to make sure you don't cause excessive dryness on your skin.

One more thing... It may sound counter productive but in the winter, the air gets REALLY REALLY dry and if you use a lot of drying products like the two I mention above and don't use a hypoallergenic body lotion to replenish your skin's moisture, wounds will actually take MUCH MUCH longer to heal.

My skin got so dry that I had to go and get a bottle of 100% vitamin e oil and smear it on my face before bed for almost a week before my cold sore started to heal.

My skin broke out... The dryness caused a cold sore... My skin just started to look HORRIBLE because I didn't use lotion out of the shower like I used to.

The best cream I have found is "Jergens Ultra Healing" and/or the Walmart Store Brand equivalent. (The ingredients are identical but one is half the price of the other.)

Face, hands, feet, arms, chest, legs, butt, and hair... I use the "Ultra Healing" from head to toe and even on my hair out of the shower as a Leave In Conditioner because I have super curly red hair that frizzes like you can't believe in the winter.

1/2 Body Lotion & 1/2 Hair Gel is what I use every single day when I style my hair.

How can a heal a wound on the nose faster?

thanks to all, and Pax i have done what u say i make sure all the pus is gone til i get the blood and then its just dry what it makes me think its gonna be better but the next day i get the same thing a scab(that is not even hard, i think that its just the white stuff that it just got dried up) with the same white stuff underneath...and its frustrating like i never gonna break this circle... i mean its not a picked pimple anymore its a wound and i only pick it again cuz i found this page* that its says that u should never pick on a scab unless its infected so i only do it to get the pus out.. well right now im still with the 'medihoney' and im gonna clean the wound later night, get rid off of the white stuff if any and then put medihoney again and ill let u know tomorrow if its better..people say its good so i hope it will help.

How to heal a cut on my face...?

A few weeks? No reason to worry. Small cuts usually heal quickly, within a week. Keep using polysporin and put a band-aid on if you can. Covered wounds heal faster than uncovered ones. Once it's healed, use moisturizer to help the residual redness fade. It shouldn't leave a scar as it sounds like a minor wound. You should be A OK in a few weeks. Worse comes to worse, you'll have a little red line that you can easily cover with makeup. (Do not put makeup over it until it is healed, makeup in an open wound is begging for an infection).

How can you make a deep cut heal fast?

If you have not had the cut stitched or stripped or stapled shut then you are too late I guess. Keep the cut clean, really clean, you have broken the body’s defences and all sorts of nasties can get in. Keep the cut covered and perhaps pack it with something like zinc ointment which keeps the bugs out. I use it on my cracked lips and they are right by the next morning. As the scabs form, don’t remove them and try to avoid making the situation worse, this will reduce scarring, not stop it. As the skin closes, keep it moisturised so you do the best for the scarring action.

How do you make a scab heal up faster?

Have you tried some polysporin or an antibiotic. Other than that I'm not sure, just make sure you don`t pick at the scab because it could cause an affection which will look worse LOL. I hope I helped :)
