How long does it normally take for hair to grow back after getting it shaved?
If you've shaved your head and are wondering how to grow it then it's very easy. Bath daily and apply coconut oil and expose it to sun and you'll get your head black or brown in a month. I've shaved my head today and am feeling confident . I've to appear for exams in February so I've shaved it for confidence and by February my hair will grow back. When my hair will catch up the level of Eminem's hair I'll start managing it and I won't let it grow further and will cut it and try to retain it's size as long as Eminem's hair's. Chill ….I wanna get haircut like this. It looks fantastic on Eminem and I'm striving for this. It seems like he shaves his head regularly or he has had a hair transplant.
Why do all (most of) Indian guys have the same haircut these days?
Most middle class Indian guys have only 3 hair styles - short, medium and long. The long version is a myth and is equivalent to no hair cut! So effectively, most of us have only 2 styles short and medium.Why is this so? At-least in my case, you need to blame my dad. My dad had this weird theory that barbers intentionally cut less hair on you so that you go to them often and they make more money. So, my dad was hell bent of getting the shortest hair cut possible for me when I was a kid. Even after the barber declared “Sir! I’m done with your son’s hair cut!”, my dad would bargain. “Ayyo! This is too long. Its summer! It should be short! Like the military folks! They look so smart!”Comparing my hair cut to the military folks was my dad’s lame excuse for cutting my hair to micrometers length. Finally, the barber would trim my hair so much that my scalp would be visible and my dad is still in mood to send me to Tirupathi( a religious place in India where people tonsure their heads completely )!And this childhood habit became so ingrained in me, that I stuck to “make it short, please” till I went to college. And when my friends started teasing me, I finally relented from short to medium. I graduated from micrometers of hair to millimeters of them!Many Indians( Dads and schools especially ) also have this weird assumption that long, stylish hair cuts are for the last bench guys who are “useless” in studies and all geeks ( read their sons ) should sport short hair. Short hair somehow stood for studiousness and high geek quotient!Recently I went to a barber’s shop and he offered me a list of different hairdos which looked something like this-“Which one do you prefer, Sir?” He asked.“Short”, I said.PS: This mostly applies to those who were kids/teenagers in the 90s and early 2000s.

Eating a protein rich diet also helps build stronger hair and growth. The thickness of your hair is a factor as well. The thicker the hair, the slower the growth. That's because the scalp is easier to stimulate with wind and sunshine.You stated that you have a “completely shaved head”. By that I'm assuming you used clippers and didn't use a razor down to the skin. Your hair will grow rapidly at first. In just under a year, you should be able to grow your hair to be a short bob.You haven't said if your hair is curly or straight.
