I thought six months was the highest subscription plan. Anyways, you don't get it on the PSN. You sign into the FFXIV website: http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com and access the MogStation to set up your subscription. You CANNOT play the game without a subscription. Signing up for more than a month at a time gives you a discount.

Why doesn't FFXIV ARR work well on my laptop?
I bought Final Fantasy XIV ARR on the PC because my husband and our room mate have it for the PS3 and now we can all party together. problem is it is really laggy on my computer. I have like 1/2 to a whole second of lag whenever I command my character to run or do any actions, which makes playing pretty much impossible. . Now my computer isn't young or top of the line by any standards, it's an old HP Pavilion DV6 I bought in 2010. But it does meet the minimum system requirements ( 4gb RAM, Intel Core i3, windows 7) I have played Shaiya (FTP MMORPG), Lord Of The Rings Online, and WOW with no problems. I have no other trouble with watching videos or anything, but I cannot find the graphics card in the system. I type in dxdiag on the 'Start' search bar but nothing comes up. Any ideas??? I REALLY want to play! lol
