How To Pull Out A Tooth That Isn

How do I pull out a rotten tooth at home?

I did this myself recently. I was diagnosed and x-rayed by a dentist, then scheduled for an extraction the following week. Just out of college and new to the town and job, my budget was, and still is, strained. I rescheduled for a couple weeks out and pulled the section of tooth out that was problematic. All cases are unique in this situation. My case was a tooth with an amalgam filling that had cavities underneath. Not a lot of tooth remained. It was a 15 year old filling. I would suggest at least getting a diagnosis and x-ray, then do research if you need to know what you’re looking at. My education helps me in this regard, but what I’ve done to my tooth is only temporary. I’m still going in for a total extraction.Using alcohol and a clean Leatherman, I broke the gomphosis tooth joint. Nerves may regress after this. I pulled out fragments of unstable tooth and rinsed my mouth afterward. It was inflamed and, yes, it hurt to do. For now, my pain is gone and I’m using a solution of 1:1 H2O and H2O2 a few times per day. If this is your last resort, have a dentist in mind or a clinic that you can visit if it goes wrong. Make sure you’re not already in a conflicted state of health and you’re not taking prescription medications. If you cook, use raw garlic. There are natural antibiotics in it similar to penicillin. Keep the site clean and plan on seeing a dentist for accurate removal of your tooth.Hope this helps. Healthcare professionals, please send me rebuttals. I deserve it.

Does it hurt to get a tooth pulled?

Had you asked the question 100 years ago, even 50 years ago, the answer would probably be “yes, it would hurt”. However now, with the basic understanding of pain, nerves and anestesia, the answer is “no”. You will feel a pinprick when the dentist administers anestesia but that is about it. Assuming that you are awake, you will feel some local pressure in the tooth area that is being extracted. If the tooth has not yet erupted, then of course, the dentist will have to make a small incision (cut) above the tooth to have access to it, so that he/she can lift it out.You will probably feel a bit of discomfort several hours after the procedure, but it should be minimal especially if the dentist gives you some pain medicine to take for a few days after the procedure. The key thing is to continue to brush being careful not to disturb the area in question, but also maintaining oral hygiene. It is likely that your dentist will also give you some antiseptic oral rinse, and that is important not to infect the area where the tooth was extracted. You might get a slight temperature rise that evening, but it should go away within the next day or so. If it rises very high and stays that way, be sure to call your dentist immediately, since it could signal an infection requiring you to take some antibiotics.I hope that my explanation made you feel a bit more relaxed yet informed as to what to expect.

How do I loose a tooth that isn't loose?

I'm supposed to go back to the orthodontist in a month to get braces but I'm supposed to loose my last baby tooth before that. The problem is it isn't even loose! They said if they have to they will pull it. The X-rays show that it's ready to come out and that the permanent tooth will come in very quickly after I loose the tooth. It's not loose at all, should I try to remove it myself or just wait and see if it gets loose naturally or should I just wait and let them pull it?

How can i pull out a tooth that isn't loose at all?

Do what my dad did when he was 17.

He had a REALLY sore tooth and couldn't get to the dentist for like 3 days and he couldn't take the pain. So he got a pair of pliars and pulled it :-P

However it shattered the tooth and there was still half of it in his gum so he had to go to the dental hospital and get surgery to remove it :-O He still said it was worth it though because the pain went away as soon as the tooth shattered :-P

I actually would kinda recommed that if it was the pain bothering you because toothache is the worst but since yours is just too high I would go to a dentist and see what they say :-P

How do I lose a tooth that isn't loose?

I have one more tooth to lose. I'm going to the ortho in September to get braces and they said I either need to lose that tooth before appointment or they will pull it. They said it's ready to come out and that the tooth is right behind . I go to a really good ortho but I'm not sure if I want them to pull it for me. Also I heard it can be bad for your gums to pull it if it isn't truly ready. What should I do?

HELP!!!! My tooth isn't growing back!!!?

I think you're talking about the canine tooth?

Those usually grow in around 14 yrs old (give or take 6 months).

If the baby tooth fell out on it's own- the roots will have been "dissolved" by the adult tooth that will eventually come in. Otherwise, there wouldn't be a reason for the tooth to come out- it just wouldn't get loose enough.

You can tell it's a baby tooth if the root part (the part that was up in the jawbone/gums) is mostly "dissolved" and it may even feel sharp. You can also see inside the tooth (the part you chewed with). It will also be much smaller than the tooth that has grown in on the other side of your mouth. It may even be flat or dull on the chewing edge of the tooth (baby teeth wear down much easier and faster than adult teeth). It will just look like a little stub and not a completely formed tooth. Adult teeth that are knocked out or fall out because of disease have the entire root still attached and are very large.

It's super rare, but sometimes canine teeth just don't come down on their own. The dentist will take an x-ray and will be able to tell if the adult canine is there and how close it is to growing into your mouth. They can also tell if it's lined up properly to be able to come down on it's own.

Don't worry :) Lots of people having missing baby teeth for upwards of 2 years. The longer it stays up in the jawbone/gums, the less likely it will be to get a cavity anytime soon.

Good luck!!

Can a dentist pull out a baby tooth that isn't loose?

My baby tooth has to fall off before i can get braces. But it isn't loose. Can the dentist still pull them out?.. I have no tooth under it. So as soon as it comes out, i need braces to close my gap

How do I pull out a not-loose dead tooth?

When you refer to a tooth as “dead” I’m assuming you’re not feeling pain from it? In such a case WHY would you want to pull it out? It’s still serving its function just as well as a “live” tooth would. in a sense, isn’t a tooth with a root canal or a “tooth implant” dead?Other than that question, I’d definitely go with the other respondents: see a good dentist and the procedure can be done quickly, easily, and absolutely painlessly.MJM, not a dentist, but has had two or three teeth pulled over the years…

Painless ways of pulling out a baby tooth that ISN'T loose?

Ok, first of all, is there a medical reason why the dentist would have to pull it out w/o numbing it? If the tooth is not loose at all, you can't pull it out yourself without experiencing major pain. You need to see a dentist (do you go to a kid's dentist?), you need to let him/her numb you, and pull them out. This is the ONLY painless way a tooth can be extracted. A great dentist will numb you without you even knowing there's a needle in your mouth. After you're numb, all you will feel is pressure. I know. It's what I do for a living :) Good luck, sweetie!
