How To Reduce Redness On Side Of Nose

How to reduce facial redness (best creams)?

I have red skin on both sides of my nose almost all the time, sometimes the redness extends under my eye area and cheeks. I have very sensitive skin and the redness gets worse, if I stress about something, when I'm outside the house (it doesn't matter, if it's cold or hot) or one week before my period. The only time I have a very even toned skin, is during exercise and especially right after exercise (intense workout). I workout everyday in the morning or evening or both. The effect lasts about 15 minutes, so it's not really a permanent solution.
I tried many creams, Eucerine, Avene, La Roche Posay,...some home remedies like green tea, chamomile, tea tree,...All the creams, that I've tried were to oily for me. I have a combination skin, so my forehead, area around my mouth an under my cheeks are very dry, but my nose and a little bit of my cheeks get very oily during the day and sometimes I get zits there and my blackheads are "permanent". I can't really clean my pores on my nose, because the redness gets out of control.
I do yoga too calm myself, but the redness still persists. I don't like wearing foundation or green/yellow concealer, because I'm too sensitive for it (belive me, I tried everything for sensitive skin) and gets oily, so I was wondering if a foundation primer would help to even out my skin tone (like Chanel base lumiere,...) or maybe you know of some creams that really help getting rid of redness.
P.S. The red colour isn't that prominent (only when I rub my skin very hard), it's more patchy looking, I don't really know how to explain it. Maybe like a very very early sign of rosacea
(I'm 20years old, I have light skin complexion, natural blonde/orange hair, I coloured it black now to tone down the redness and I have to say that's the only thing that helps just a little bit).
And I don't want to go to the doctor, I have a feeling he wouldn't take me so serious, since it's not life threathining. :P
Any ideas? I read and tried so many things for years now, I'm starting to loose hope.

Thanks!

Redness on side of my nose?

You have the same problem I did.
What I did was I changed up my whole face routine. I started using Clean and Clea Advantage, I use the 3-in-1 Exfoliating Cleanser, the Spot treatment (Use it on the redness too), and the Dual Action Moisturizer (It works as kind of an anti-inflammatory) and it cools the redness. Once a week i use the Exfoliating Cleanser and an old electric tooth brush to deep clean my pores. and make sure to get around the nose and mouth area,

How can you reduce redness in the t-zone of your face?

So many women do not complete the cycle (not to say that you don't because I wouldn't know...I'm just saying...): Cleanse, Tone, Moisturize. Toners are not useless! They are there to even out your skin tone and get rid of uneven patches/redness! Try incorporating that in your facial care routine, and you should hopefully see results in about 1-2 months. In the meantime, get the Physicians Formula face powder pallette in green, as green counteracts and minimizes redness. Further coverup can be found in foundations! Hope this helps :)

How to reduce redness of a pimple overnight?

Ok so I have a huge red pimple on the side of my nose and it's awful... I'm going somewhere on Sunday and I don't want the pimple on my face, I know I can put concealer on it but it's so big therefore so noticeable... I won't be able to go to the shop tomorrow so I need something at home, I've tried so many things and they didn't work. I don't have eye drops or aspirin at home so don't suggest them, toothpaste doesn't work for me, I've tried sudocream and it's not that effective, I have 'clean and clear advantage spot gel' but that only kind of works, I've tried putting lavender on it but it didn't work, ice doesn't really work either... I tried to use a warm compress to bring the pimple to a head but it didn't work... So do you guys have any ideas on how to reduce redness, make the pimple go away soon, make it smaller or bring it to a head faster? Please, I NEED your help :) xx Thanks!

My nose is red on both sides after being in the sun. Is there a vitamin capsule in liquid form that I can apply on my nose to prevent skin damage?

Hi Sara! Your question was flagged as needing to be improved. I’ve edited it for you.I would suggest instead of trying to fix the redness or what is probably “sunburn”, after you come in, apply a lotion or cream BEFORE you go out in the sun. These products are Sunscreen or Sunblock and they are made for the face. You just need to pick one that is for your skin type and really, you should wear it all over your face if you are in the sun a lot.Suncreen/Sunblock are usually SPF 50 and higher, are “broad spectrum”, non comedogenic and water resistant. If you live near a Walgreens or Walmart, here are two links to Sunscreens for Face: Walgreens: Sunscreen for Face|Walgreens and Walmart: sunscreen for face - Walmart.com . Sort the results in the order of the highest rating and read the reviews before buying. If you live in an area without these stores, I can direct you to a study of taking Beta Carotene and Vitamin E ( Beta-Carotene and Vitamin E Help Prevent Sunburn). I’m not a scientist so I can’t vouch for the authenticity of this study but WebMD is a popular website that is considered to be an authority and reliable when it comes to their information. At the very least, you could try breaking a capsule of Vitamin E and spread the oil from the capsule on your nose to ease the redness.I hope I’ve been of some help to you.Best Wishes,Carol

How can I get rid of redness on nose from squeezing blackheads?

Why is one side of my nose swollen, and how do I treat it?

My first question is, did you hit your nose recently or run into anything or do you play soccer? I broke my nose TWICE as a nurse and didn't even know it! it swelled up on one side. However, pushing down on the area, if it hurts, it could very well otherwise be a cyst (pimple) Applying a clean, warm washcloth w clean face soap and rinsing w/ warm water and then patting it dry twice a day will help. Also, did you know that HONEY applied to a pimple after you do this and then covering it with a band aid overnight is automatically an antiseptic/antibacterial of the best kind? It works well. The warm water compress again in the morning will bring it down. Wash your hands too. And, leave it alone otherwise. If it doesn't go down in a couple of days or gets worse or you have symptoms that you are having difficulty breathing get to the Dr.
