How To Remove Cat Urine Ordor From Plactic

How do you get cat urine smell out of plastic?

We got my daughter a toddler bed that is made out of the same plastic as Little Tikes outside houses. We bought it from some people offline and when my husband picked it up he said that their house smelt like cat pee and the bed stunk up the vehicle on his way home. But he brought it home and we let it sit outside for about 2 weeks then he cleaned it with coil cleaner (he's in HVAC and that is a strong cleaner they use). We brought it in but within a few days when I'd open my daughters door in the morning the smell was horrible.
We then hauled it back outside and cleaned it with Nature's Miracle which is a odor neutralizer we got at a pet store. After it sat outside for a few days we sprayed it, let it sit for about an hour or two, sprayed it again and wiped it down and brought it back in. Again it didn't smell when we brought it in but then after a day or two in her room it smelt again.
We are going to haul it out again and try one more time because my daughter is now sleeping in it. I know it's clean, I just can't get rid of the smell. And we don't even have cats!!!
I really need something that will work so that I won't be hauling it out constantly or having to wipe it down daily with Nature's Miracle (which is what I am doing right now) or I'm going to have to trash it and I will have a VERY unhappy 2 year old since I can't afford to go buy another.
Please help!

How do I remove odor from plastic containers?

Store a cartridge of active carbon within the container and at a slightly elevated temperature when not in use. And don’t forget to dispose of or replace with fresh carbon when saturated with the unwanted volatiles. Regeneration can be achieve by heating the carbon to a higher temperature of ca 100 C.Alternatively, place plastic containers in an air oven at =< 50 C., making certain that the variety of plastic will withstand the selected temperature without undergoing shrinkage.

How do you remove melted plastic of a leather couch?

I assume you mean off...you don't say what kind of melted plastic? Thick or thin? You could try ice to make it really brittle then chip it off. Or if thin then get an old cloth and put it over then iron it, so maybe the plastic will melt into the cloth instead? Try this on a hidden area first to make sure the iron doesn't make permanent marks on the leather.

How can I remove odor from the inside band of a Panama Hat?

I am assuming you mean the band inside the hat.I know bicarbonate of soda is good at absorbing odours so you could try generously dusting the hatband with it, leave overnight and then brush off.If that doesn't work then I think you need to replace the hat band - cannot think of another way...If you are not sure how to go about that (it needs a bit of hand sewing) have a look at a website called The Fedora Lounge - lots of tips and tricks for men who have hats!

Are there any products I can use to remove smell from cardboard?

You can use either fabreeze or deodor-rock. I think you will find that fabreeze sprayed in and out of the box will work just fine at least in the short term. for the long term you may require deodor-rock pucks. You use the pucks inside the product for a week and then put the puck outside where it will rejuvinate itself and be ready to go again. You can do this as many times as you like as it doesn't wear out. Good luck.

How to get cat urine out of suitcase?

Cat urine is very concentrated, even moreso if you have a cat that does not like water, or drinks very little water. Cats get all the liquid they need usually from their foods; however, Cat who are fed canned food drink very little water, if any. Those who are fed dry foods will drink more water, and need to always have water available (or else they go to the toilet to drink, or wherever else inside they can find water). Some owners get upset when they think their cats needs to drink water; do not, or will not drink

I left car window open at my mom's and her cat got in and wet all over - marking my car and peeing in my leather purse. New purse so I wanted to save it. Tried this and it worked real well. (Some cat products work well but sometimes a trial and error process to get just the right one).

Washed purse out with baking soda and water, then hung outside in the sun for about half a day. Went back to check, not feeling good that anything helped, and it worked. However, to be sure, I hung it outside for a couple more days to be sure. Once thoroughly dried, sprinkled some baking soda in it for extra measure. Sprayed with Febreze as last step. (also cleaned inside of car with this same process).

Also one of my cats used one of my school tote bags (similar to the ones now used for shopping bags) - heavier material than those but porous still. Used the same process on this type of material and it worked well, again.(This material is not one that would wash well,so had to find alternative, and this is what I did, as with the purse.
