How to get rid of roots of a wart?
I had a wart on my finger and started using wart treatment band aids. It started dieing down but there was this piece of loose skin right next to it so I used it to dig a hole in the wart with a bobby pin. Eventually the top layer of the wart came off and only the warts roots were there but now I don't know how to get the roots away and kill the wart for good. It's gross and I do not like it. (unpainfully)

Best way(s) to keep tree roots from growing into underground Sprinkler?
Ain`t nothing simple that I know of. Whatever you do, you`ll Still have to dig down and cut the offending roots away from the sprinkler heads. But THEN you can put up a root barrier around the heads themselves. I`d go a foot or two below where the heads are attached. A cheap barrier can be made from a 4 x 8 sheet of corrugated fiberglass. The kind they use on the tops of carports etc. Don`t worry about the roots growing Into your sprinkler pipes. PVC is the Best root barrier there is. The roots grow to where the water is. ESP if the tree is`nt gettting enough. Unless you have a leak in one/some, you have no worries. DON`T use copper. Roots hate it alright but Grass has roots too (:> And `sides, it`s not environmentally cool. Good Luck with them! RT
How do you kill an unwanted holly when you can't get to the roots?
Whoever poured our slab for our porch (before we bought the house), must have poured it over old holly stumps. For the last two years now, I have been fighting the holly growing out from under the porch. I keep cutting it back as far as I can get the shears down in the soil but they still keep coming back! I actually had to cut down (well, trimmed WAY back) a 20-year-old confederate jasmine that the holly was growing up into and ruining the vine. I hate having to kill a plant intentionally but it is choking out my flowers beds and ornamental grass. Any suggestions are welcome...I am just at my wits end!
