How To Slim Down And Tone Up

How can I slim down a little bit, look more toned and sexy in 20 days? How should I be eating? and exercises?

I am in a long distance relationship, and my boyfriend is flying here to visit me for the holidays. He will be here in just 20 days. In the time he and I have been apart, I have been sort of depressed and lazy- no working out, I haven't found a job here yet, and I even do school online, so I rarely ever leave the house, so I have put on a little extra fat. I have been drinking soda and coffee everyday, little water, and eating just whenever I am hungry. I know this is bad for me, and I will make the changes, but what are some diets or weekly eating plans that will help me lose fat? Will a master cleanse do any good for me? I will start drinking lots of water and only water, teas, and juices. Is there any particular foods I should stay away from? Any particular foods I should eat more of? I will start exercising regularly also. Thanks.

Will Dancing Slim down and tone my legs?

Ballet will definitely tone your legs but it will also make the leg muscles bigger, especially the calves.. The best bet is to do belly dance. when done properly and seriously with a good technique your whole body slims and your spine gets longer. just by practicing certain movements without even moving, you can sweat a lot. certain exercises that prepare you also for the belly dance steps can shape your buttocks to perfection. you have to find a good teacher though so you make sure things are done right (for example keeping knees slightly bent, knee directly above the middle toe etc. Regarding other types of dances I have no personal experience, but I guess they do slim the legs. How can I slim down and tone my waist?

Which martial art will slim me down?

Fitness isn't exactly the primary goal of the martial arts, nor should it be. Fitness requires exercise and a proper diet.

Look into methods of increasing your metabolism. Aerobic exercise only works when there's adequate muscle to feed from. In order for aerobics to work best, weight lifting of some degree is usually mandatory to get results.

A large part of exercise and diet is that it boosts the metabolism, which fuels caloric intake, and burns stored calories in fat cells. Exercise alone will help, and so will eating good foods, but there's more to it than that. Proper hydration, relieving stress, and good sleep aid the metabolism as well.
Eating 5-6 small meals throughout the day, having the largest meal at breakfast, is important. Also, adding spicy food contributes to the metabolism greatly.

The martial arts does give a good workout and will help, but I just wanted to make it clear that the fat burning should be dealt with separately on its own course.
As for what martial art is a totally different situation. There are good schools and there are bad schools. Places that offer the same thing aren't always going to be the same quality. All martial arts were first created for the sole purpose of self defense, so any martial art that hasn't changed it's original purpose will teach the proper ways.
To keep things simple, just shop around, visit schools, watch the classes and see which one you feel you will get the most out of. Sometimes it's as simple as that.

I'm 5'11 275lbs, Best course of action to slim down, tone up, build muscle?

I'm over weight and seeking the best combination of exercises to perform for my body type.
I've basically been a "Big" guy all my life, broad shoulders and large structured. I have always struggled with my weight.
I've done my share of strength training and cardio training but as usually happens i've lost the swing of things.

I know doing Cardio and eating right will contribute to burning fat, but I also don't want to lose muscle mass.

Any and all advice is welcomed, I have added pics that have been taken today, and Posted a bit of info (whether necessary or not) that has also just been tested today and of physical things I can do and my measurements.

I'm 5' 11" 275lbs 23yrs old
Chest=50inch
Waist= 48inch
Push ups (till failure with proper posture) = 32
Sit ups (till failure hands held at sides of face) = 18
BMI = 38.4

None necessary added info:
I can do one handed cart wheels, can walk on my hands, great balance, light on my feet, flexible (can do splits and kick above my head) and I naturally walk with good posture and always keep my stomach (abs) tense, back straight, chest up and have always been athletic! Can run up 3 flights of stairs no problem!

Lately I've been keeping an eye on calories, and food consumption.

I'm I really in seriously bad shape?? I know I need to lose a lot of weight but I really don't "feel" unhealthy and last visit to the docs they stated that I'm healthy! Good blood pressure ect. I know 275 sounds like A LOT! But in no way do I look it, I've been told I look 230lbs.... I would LOVE to be at that weight!! lol

To be straight forward my goals are to make a life change and lose the excess fat for good.

Best way to slim down if i am pear shaped?

Will swimming slim me down or bulk me up?

I want to get skinny first and then worry about toning and stuff like that. So I was wondering will swimming swim me down and tone at the same time or will it just make me stronger? I heard swimming will not give u a flatter stomach but will make your core stronger. Is that true? Also I don't want like to build on muscle I really just want to get smaller not have the same size legs but with muscle instead.

What's a fitness routine for a female trying to slim down and tone their body?

If you are female , and you want to be skinny you must first skip dinner , or eat just some raw vegetables in the dinner , you must do work out every day to fasten the prossess , also you must decrease candy ,chocolate and all sugars , walk whenever you are free ,place juices and soda by water , try to drink water before you eat so you feel full , try to practice sport earlyThose are some motivational quotes , you must set goals , like I must lose 5 kg , after this you must set deadlines , you can do it in just a month
