Why don't female news anchors dress in more professional attire?

I listen to FOX News Cable a lot and I don't understand why the female anchors have to dress so slutty. I have always thought that tv news was a serious business. Why shouldn't it be anchored by women in more professional attire? If female news anchors are highly educated and have excellent credentials and the background for these jobs, then why do they have to dress so slutty and show cleavage? Male news anchors always look so professionally dressed. This is the news, not some show!

Why don't professional golfers ride in carts during big tournaments?

Most of golf’s governing bodies like the USGA and the PGA Tour prohibit the use of carts in their events. Their view is that physical stamina is an important aspect of the competition, so players are required to walk.In the late ‘90s, this rule was challenged by a player who was born with a congenital, degenerative circulatory disorder that causes him severe pain when walking long distances. Despite his condition, he became an accomplished player and was offered a scholarship to play for Stanford. In ‘94, he requested the use of a cart during the NCAA Championship. The NCAA not only allowed him to use a cart for that tournament, he was permitted to use a cart for the remainder of his collegiate career. He turned pro after graduating. The PGA Tour had a 3 stage tournament back then for players wanting to qualify for the Tour, and after advancing through the first two stages he requested the use of a cart for the third stage, but was denied. He filed for an injunction under the Americans With Disabilities Act. The United States District Court for the District of Oregon granted him a preliminary injunction ordering the PGA to allow him to use a cart during the third stage of the qualifying tournament. The PGA responded by lifting its "no cart" rule for all of the players playing in the third stage.A lengthy legal battle resulted, which went all the way to the Supreme Court. The PGA Tour and USGA felt that providing a cart to a player would “fundamentally alter the nature of the competition” and give that player an advantage, plus they felt the courts had no business telling organizers of these tournaments how to define the rules for their events. In 2001, the Supreme Court decided that under the ADA, the PGA Tour must allow him the use of a cart. The player, Casey Martin, has not qualified for the PGA Tour since 2000 and is currently the head golf coach at the University of Oregon.
