How To Teach Multiplication With An Ld Child Who Counts On Fingers

Do teachers at your school give students an opportunity to retake the same test to get a better grade? If they do, is it fair?

I’m speaking as a high school student. Most teachers do not allow us to retake a test until we get a good grade. The exception was for AP Chemistry where, for the first test, he allowed us to do a “make up test” to get a better grade since we didn’t know what the structure of the test would be like. However, it was a different test.I think it’s unfair for teachers to allow students to retake the same test multiple times in most circumstances. If someone close to you died and you were distressed to the point of not being able to get a good grade the first time, that is a good reason to be able to retake a test. However, if you just didn’t study because you were lazy, that’s not a good reason. You need to be held accountable for your actions. If you wanted a better grade, you should have studied or gotten extra help. Even if you were just super busy, that’s not a good reason, because in life you will be busy and still be expected to meet deadlines. If a teacher allows someone to retake a test, it should be a test with different questions, because if they were the same questions, the student could talk to someone who already took the test and get answers.

Does my girlfriend have learning disability?(very long, but I need help badly)?

Thanks to you all. I honestly don't think I'm an amazing bf as I give her problems as well. I don't think her problems are as severe as I made them out to be. sometimes she feels as if shes of average intelligence and others she does not so well. I do get angry with her at times which usually leads to arguments which is bad, but one can only take so much, but I'm trying to stop that. i know she can succeed in this world, but I feel like she needs to be a lot more prepared before she starts college. Thank you all for the advice. I appreciate it. Also again I'm not that amazing lol

What's the inability to read symbols called?

I believe the term for the inability to read symbols is asemia. The definition of asemia is the loss of ability to express or understand symbols or signs of thought. Asemia fits into a larger category of pathologies called agnosia. Agnosia is a loss of the ability to recognize objects, people, sounds, shapes, or smells.Agnosia
