Can we add lemon and honey in Tetley green tea?

Green tea, one of the world's most widely consumed beverages, is a delicious source of antioxidants and other phytonutrients, making it easy to obtain the 2 to 3 cups per day recommended for optimal intake of its health-giving polyphenols. With lemon and honey, a classic blending of complementary flavors, green tea can be a soothing hot beverage or an energizing iced refreshment. The combination also offers particular health benefits.

Is green tea with honey good for your singing voice?

I don't know about you, but my vocal teacher and pretty much all my singing friends use green tea with honey. Other things that might help could be a special type of syrup called Chuan Cui Pi Pa Gao ( I think some Chinese markets sell it), which has a nice taste and is sweet; it helps to smooth the voice. Also, some non-sugary cough drops can help.

Things that will NOT help are dairy products (ice cream, milk, etc.), which can cause mucus or excess saliva to clog up your voice. Never ever eat ice cream before a singing performance if you don't want to give yourself a heart attack by thinking that you can't sing because your voice is clogged up...(Unfortunately, that last part came from personal experience. *sigh*)

Lastly, if you're looking for more tips on how to preserve your singing voice, rest your voice! Don't sing after eating and don't sing before you're warmed up.

Hope this helps! :D

Is green tea with ginseng and honey good for you?

It's certainly not bad for you. Benefits may vary, depending. Green tea is possibly the most inoffensive drink in the world. Honey has no particular benefit over table sugar, unless you're using raw local honey. Local unfiltered honey might help control seasonal allergies in people who suffer from them. The ginseng is the wild card. For some people, it seems to have great benefits. For others, it does bupkiss. If you do decide to take ginseng, I recommend NOT putting it in your tea. I take ginseng every day to manage my neuralgia. I have no idea why it helps, but it does. However, I take a locally produced tincture rather than a mass-marketed supplement. It works, but it tastes terrible. Like bitter dirt. I used to take it in my morning tea, but realized I was starting to avoid my tea! So now I just put the drops in an ounce or so of water, gulp it down and make a face. THEN I have my tea.

Adding honey to Green and White tea: is the honey reducing any benefits of the tea?

honey has health benefits:

Honey is composed of sugars like glucose and fructose and minerals like magnesium, potassium, calcium, sodium chlorine, sulphur, iron and phosphate.

It contains vitamins B1, B2, C, B6, B5 and B3 all of which change according to the qualities of the nectar and pollen. Besides the above, copper, iodine, and zinc exist in it in small quantities.

If you have allergies, honey can be beneficial. If you eat honey that is local to your area, it may help prevent your seasonal allergies. Bees use the pollen from local plants and eventually it ends up in your honey.

Honey has powerful antimicrobial properties

There is evidence that honey diluted in water will help with your stomach aches and dehydration.

Honey may also be effective in the treatment of your ulcers. In Europe, honey has been used internally to help cure ulcers, particularly stomach ulcers

Arizona Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey diet?

That type of green tea will not help with weight loss. I would shop in the coffee/tea aisle, and pick out one to brew yourself. I love Tazo brand. They also have a cold water brew of green tea, but either works. You can use sugar, honey, or agave nectar, but they all add calories. I use Splenda, but if you have concerns about that, perhaps you could use stevia/Truvia?

Also, drinking lemon water throughout the day hydrates when dieting. I think it helps curb cravings. Some say it helps detox, as well.

I think the only way green tea would help weight loss is if you took green tea capsules. Please check with a doctor prior to that...I am not sure if something in green tea helps, or if it's simply the excess caffeine. Some online venders like iOffer carry green tea pills, but they are sometimes mixed with diet drugs like Meridia (illegal OTC).

Try walking a couple days a week, and cut out junk food and soda. Cut out highly processed foods, white carbs, and sugar. Fill up on lean meat, fruits, and veggies. Limit starchy foods like beans, potatoes, bread, bananas, carrots, peas, corn, etc.

Remember, even "all-natural" ingredients can pack on weight. Figure out desired daily caloric intake -- as an adult (done growing), I eat 1200 calories daily to lose weight. If you are young and growing, you may need more. Check the label on the Arizona tea. It has 70 calories per 8-oz serving. If you drank 3 servings daily, you would have to subtract those calories (210) from daily allowed amount. I personally think subbing a glass of skim milk, more fruit, and home brewed tea would be healthier than the Arizona tea.

I hope this is helpful. Don't let me discourage you - green tea is full of antioxidants, and many people say it's a healthy dietary addition.

Is Arizona Green Tea with Ginseng and Honey good for you?

Green tea in general is good for you! and yes, its a great substitute for soda. The health properties of green tea include:
increased metabolism (perfect for trying to lose weight!)
preventing cancer
fighting cancer cells without harming normal cells
lowering cholesterol
decreasing the risk of heart disease
fighting off tooth decay

the only negative effect that I'm aware of is insomnia from the caffeine, but I can only imagine that's if you drink like ten cans a day haha.
So even if you aren't dieting, I would recommend green tea in any form as a great healthy addition to your diet! Also, ginseng and honey have good health qualities too!

Just be aware that Arizona green tea does have a bit of sugar, although I think they use splenda. I would think in moderation Arizona green tea is good, considering the amount of sugar, but you are still getting the health benefits from the green tea, ginseng, and honey, so it might balance out. Try getting some green tea bags also and drinking that in addition to a few Arizonas.
