If the light is on in OBD 2, there is most likely a sensor or something small wrong. Could even be the gas cap was loose. Thats a pretty common one "EVAP SENSOR" You need to figure out why the light is on. Get the code, and fix the problem that it says is having issues. Then you can get it turned off and inspected.
