How To Wake Up With The Alarm Clock

What is the best way to wake up to an alarm clock?

Depends on what your needs are. If you are a heavy sleeper and need a clock try this annoying alarm humdinger, called Clocky.“This clock is reminiscent of the popular 1970s IQ test games which required you to put different shaped pieces into their matching holes. When the alarm goes off, the pieces go flying! Quickly assemble the puzzle by matching the colors and shapes to turn the alarm off.   Our Puzzle Alarm Clock will continue to sound until all three pieces are put back into their matching holes ensuring that your butt is awake and will not fall back asleep!”This next one could also get your heart racing… This guy is also named Clocky!“The dreaded Clocky has been terrorizing homes for many years now. While the seemingly harmless, wheeled friend may seem like a dream come true for heavy sleepers -- think again. Your once snooze-filled morning routine is about to replaced by an awkward chase around your house as this little guy evades you at every turn. However, tripping down the stairs or over your cat will definitely wake you up.”Last, this one is for the person that wants to be lulled awake. It is called The Sunrise Stimulator, and it costs a pretty penny. Just read all it does-“The Philips HF3520 wake-up light features 20 different colored brightness settings, the HF3520 offers a steadily increasing light beginning at 20 to 30 minutes prior to your scheduled alarm time. Additionally, the HF3520 offers 200 lux maximum light intensity and no replacement bulb is needed for the life of the unit, which provides years of value and better mornings.Beyond the colored sunrise simulation, the Philips does offer a more traditional alarm style with an FM radio and tap snooze function that allows for an extra nine minutes of sleep. The non-slip rubber feet provide easy placement anywhere on a nightstand where the HF3520 can pull dual-duty as a bedside lamp for reading or relaxing. While there’s bound to be a transition period from a traditional alarm to a wake-up light, the chance to have more energy and better concentration right from the get-go make the HF3520 a must-own.”NoNoNow what I wake up to is my internal clock which wakes me up at 4 or 4:30 every morning. Can you wake up without an alarm clock?

I can't. I have an alarm clock set to wake me up at 4:05am, 5:00am, 5:45am, and 6:30am. My roommate use to HATE that but now my fiance hates it! I have this set for every day! My classes (on weekdays) start at 9:00am but it takes me about 2 hours to get ready, that's why I get up at 6:30. On weekends, I live to try to wake up the same time as any other day.
It drives my fiance crazy but owell. He tries to throw my alarm clock out of the window lol
Anyways, if it wasn't for that alarm clock I would wake up around 2 or 3 in the evening EVERY DAY!

Why doesn’t the alarm clock wake me up anymore?

There are a few reasons why this could be happening. I know because I did some research when the same thing kept happening to me but the most common one is the alarm sound. If you are using the same sound for over a month or two then your brain might be getting used to it and starting to ignore it. Also if your alarm sound is a song or some common sound that you hear during the day it is time to change it.Pick sounds that irritate you. Repetitive hard sounds are best. Even putting a simple construction site sound for your alarm tone will give you positive effects. The best way to do this is to pick something that irritates you during the day. It could be a car horn or a cooking pot falling down the stairs. Pick your worst one and you won’t have this problem for a long time.

How do i wake up earlier without an alarm clock?

That's a very good question.

I remember my professor in high school told me how to set up my body's alarm clock. And, believe me it really works. Well, here's what you should do. Before you go to sleep, think really hard on what time you're planning to wake up. Just keep thinking that you really need to wake yourself up at that time. Then you 'might' wake up at that time if you do it properly. It works for me every time.

But, if that doesn't work for you, I suggest sleep early.

Good Luck. :]
