What are some ways to impress a chemistry teacher?

This is the same advice for any teacher, or any boss, for that matter.Do your homework! As another answer noted, this includes reading your lab assignments so you're ready to go when class starts. It you have a question, ask it, but if you can, try to find the answer for yourself, first. Laziness is not impressive, and you’ll be more likely to remember something you work for. Finally, don’t treat the class like it’s an annoyance, boring, or just something you have to suffer thru for graduation. Nobody likes to be treated like their job is a waste of your time, and most teachers really enjoy the subject they teach, so you might be stomping on their passion as well as their career.Edit to add: Oh yes, and be respectful in class! Don't talk or use your phone/computer (except to take notes) when the teacher is teaching.

Should it be written as C5H4 or H4C5? Chemistry?

its C5H4

Who is the best organic chemistry teacher in Kota?

There would be so many. But for me, Mohammad Arif sir is the best!!When I say best, I mean Best in every aspect. He is such a great personality. He has become my idol. He presents both Organic chemistry and life in the simplest and most beautiful way possible. Our whole batch respects and loves him more than any other teacher. When I say whole batch I mean, almost 10000 students. We had his last class yesterday and everyone was in tears(me topping the list). But never again in our life we will find organic hard. He teaches and makes us remember key points with shayari or daily life examples. What can be a better way than this? Our notes are full of such tips and mnemonics. Making this part of chemistry quite interesting.I would have eagerly written a whole essay on him, but since you have asked about the teaching part, I repeat he's the best!!PS - I will definitely write more about him if I get a similar question. But this isn't relevant to the current answer.

What possible way can I ask my chemistry teacher to stop speaking nonsense in class (read details)?

Do not go behind his back: complain to the principal or release videos. There is a lot of possibility that it might back fire (especially if you record stuff in class). You don't want that.Confront him when he is alone:Request some time to talk privately with him Either alone or as a group of classmates. You don't want to embarrass him in public or make him feel humiliated.Be respectful when you discuss this with him:Be polite, be calm. Explain to him very respectfully why you feel uncomfortable about the jokes and the banter. If there are good aspects that you appreciate about him, it's a good idea to start with those first and then move to the negative feedback with a “but…”Be clear and precise about your feedback:Don't mince words- be clear that this behaviour displeases you. All the while ensuring you don't lose your cool or be disrespectful. If this doesn't fly well. Then, and only then should you go to the pricipal. But I'm sure any reasonable person will take your feedback positively if you are respectful and genuine. That said : know that this is a very good learning experience. Being able to tackle difficult and delicate situations like these is an essential skill to become successful personally and professionally.I wish you the best :)

What are some memories that you have with your favourite teacher?

I have many great memories of my several teachers I had growing up in school because I considered them to have great minds and great talents to be able to inspire people like myself and others my age.  I remember how one teacher in second grade always cared when we were sick or not feeling well and when I showed a little weakness in math, she became concerned because I was normally excellent in mathematics. Then I had a science teacher in high school who always showed the class practical uses for sciences since this was still physical sciences.  We learned plant science, a little chemistry and physics.  It was very interesting. Then I had a geometry teacher my first year of high school who most of the students did not like because she was a strict grader but I liked her very much because she made us all work hard and made sure we understood the material.  Her class was fun.I enjoyed my third grade teacher who was born in an earlier century and she has so many stories to tell which were very interesting.  I found it interesting to learn how different school was during her time versus the time I was attending school and that is also when the class learned about the invention of the bicycles.  We all loved bicycle riding back then. There are many great memories of attending school when I was growing up and that is why I chose to be a teacher when I finished school.  I thoroughly enjoyed the children I taught.
