Do spider lovers take spiders out of their homes when they find them?
I take spiders outside if they have wandered into an environment that does not suit them. So, if I can catch them, I take the wolf spiders back outside. I once found a Phidippus workmani in my bathroom. She would not have thrived indoors, so I put her out too. But in Taiwan the dorm windows were unscreened and jumping spiders moved about on both sides of the walls. Nobody bothered to interfere with them. We all knew they would get some of those mosquitos that bothered us at night. We had wall tigers too (small lizards).If I find spiders that are adapted to living indoors, I generally leave them alone. But the ones that try to build a web in front of my computer screen usually get discouraged one way or the other. They just go somewhere else to build their webs.The only reason for taking a web weaver outdoors would be if a black widow somehow decided to build under my bookcase or in some other such spot. In that case it’s not only that they don’t belong, but also that I really would not want to suffer an accidental bite.I’ve never had a spiral-web weaver take up residence indoors. I think such a spider would likely starve to death for lack of prey, so I’d take her outdoors to the garden area.

Update: The best source of calcium is cuttlefish bones. If you don't have cuttlefish bone at home (I would be surprised if you do), you can use eggshells. Bear in mind snails have tiny mouth, so don't forget to grind the eggshells! I hear some people use a pepper mill to grind eggshells. I have never tried it myself but you are free to try! If condition allows, I take them home. I put them and some leaves in a takeaway box, making sure they can hide under the leaves comfortably. I spray clean water on them a few times a day so that they won’t dry out (they tend to dry out quickly because their broken shells can’t keep humidity in). As a “concealed gun carrier”, have you ever accidentally had an unfortunate situation where someone said, “HE’S GOT A GUN,” or anything similar?
A few years ago my wife & I went on a double date with some really good friends of ours to a sushi restaurant. This couple is successful, educated and just really solid/fun people. In fact one of the only things we don’t have in common with them is that they are liberals & don’t believe in guns as a result. So naturally we don’t ever discuss politics.Anyway we are having dinner and enjoying ourselves and I get up to excuse myself to the restroom and my buddy sees my Glock 23 on my hip as I’m sliding out of the booth. He knew I had my conceal carry permit but I guess being ignorant to guns he assumed I wouldn’t have it on me all the time? He asked, “Why did you have to bring that to dinner”? I said, “Why what’s the problem” as I sit back down, instinctively knowing this was going to turn into a discussion. He proceeds to tell me he doesn’t believe in concealed carry and wishes he would have known I was bringing my pistol to dinner with them because that may have changed his opinion of joining us.I was pretty floored at this point, but remained calm and wanted to understand why he felt this way so I asked what was his main concern? He said, “If someone comes in the restaurant with a gun threatening harm I don’t want you drawing your pistol on him and bringing attention towards us, maybe putting us in the line of fire”. Openly amazed at what I just heard from my long time friend I asked, “Let me get this straight; if a criminal came in here right now with a gun you’d rather not have your licensed and trained friend in possession of his own legal firearm and able to protect you, but instead would rather be at the mercy of some lunatic out of fear I would draw attention to us”? Dude looked me square in the eye with a straight face and said, “exactly”.My wife looked at me and saw the confused bewilderment followed by a welling up of disgust for what I’d just heard and quickly defused the situation by changing the subject. To this day I love that friend like a brother but I’ve never looked at him again with the same respect I once had. The ignorance and intolerance about guns and their licensed operators in our Country is damn scary!

Christians how can I overcome what I am going through,heal and go forward?
Hello this is encourager4God and I have some questions. Sometimes I feel picked on and singled out by God when it comes to the trials I am dealing with, both my husband and I are unemployed and I wish at times I could have a godly attitude about this and smile and rejoice in the Lord, but I worry and find myself crying and anxious about how we are going to make it. I wish this trial was over and things would be all better but they are not. My questions are How can I heal and go forward and have a right mindset about the trials I am going through and we are doing everything we can to secure work but nothing will budge. How can I mature and become a godly woman through this experience?
