I Almost Broke My Arm Now I Wish I Had

How to use a computer with a broken arm

As someone told you. You can configure the mouse for left handed people, this is a great opportunity to use your left arm, I know that breaking your dominant arm is totally bad and you are very helpful with almost all, you can continue doing normal things you now have to get used to use your left arm. You can configure your mouse on control panel, mouse configuration, you can test your new mouse configuration before you accept it, Good luck with your arm and my best wishes for you.

Best friend with a broken arm?! What should I do?

I broke both of my arms in January (haha) but im all better now!! soooo... my friends just helped me get around and do things that i couldn't do before. you can make sure her arm doesn't hurt, and it if does, it kinda helps to put is on the outside of the cast, or take med. if it itches, you can always get a hanger for her!! haha. and also, a note or text or what ever just asking how she is or telling her to feel better is always perfect! good luck to you and her!!

My friend accidently broke my arm...?

Sorry if this is a bit long winded but here goes...

It's been snowing all week where i live and me and my freinds went out for a snowball fight and that was all ok. But wen we were coming back we had to walk down some steps and one of my friends decided it would be funny to keep knocking into us.

But when she did it to me i slipped and fell down the steps landing on my arm. i got taken to hospital and i found out i broke my arm in 3 places. i now have it in cast and i have to wear a sling. the doctor says i have to have the cast on for 6-8 weeks.

the problem is my friends has no turned really nasty. She told me yesterday she was glad my arm was broken and she hoped it hurt. She says i deserved it for being an attention seeking b***ch. i cant understand why shes like this, i dont blame her for what happened and im really not attention seeking, im gutted about my arm because im going to miis out on basketball training which starts next week

what should i do about my friend?

How do you break your own arm?

I’m not going to give you crap about your question. I don’t know what’s going on in your life.I was there once. I wanted to break my arm for attention. Not only that, but I felt that breaking an arm was a childhood ‘rite of passage’. I wanted to join the club of kids with broken bones. I wanted the cast. Obviously, I was young and dumb, but I just want you to know that you’re not the only person who has ever wanted this.I actually tried to break my arm. Let me be the first to tell you that most of these methods don’t work. “Sandwiching” your arm between your legs and pushing doesn’t work. It only hurts your shins. Falling backwards on it doesn’t work. Falling forward and landing on it at an awkward angle doesn’t work. Whacking it with a hammer or something (probably) won’t work. (I used my fist at full force —pretty hard, I’m not a wimp. All it did was give it a deep enough bruise that it didn’t appear at the surface.)So these don’t really work. Here’s why:Did you know that you can bite off your pinkie finger as easily as a carrot. Try it, but you can’t do it. Your brain stops you. Same type of thing with these (dumb) methods. Your brain stops you from falling completely on your arm by sticking a knee down, etc.Your best bet is to stop trying and hope it comes on accident. Crappy answer, I know, but I’m willing to bet that this is a phase, just like mine was. I think that most kids go through the phase of wanting a broken arm or leg for the cast, but you and I just had it worse and took it even farther.

I broke my ankle and I want to hear some stories of broken bones, have you ever broke something? Please tell?

i was like 6 years old and doing a backwalkover at gymnastics and i wasn't that good at it yet and i fell on my wrist and surprisingly finished the backwalkover. i didn't want to go to the hospital so i told my mom that i was okay so we went out for chinese and i wasn't using my left wrist at all but i told my mom it was because i was a righty but then i went to the hospital and had x-rays and the nurse was mean to me because i was crying and wiggling then i puked all over the ground when i found out it was broken because i was so nervous and the doctor told the nurse to clean it up.

i have another story but the bone wasn't broken:
it was about a month ago and i was at gymnastics and it was the last 10 minutes of practice and i asked my coach if i could just do a front tuck before doing my floor routine so i did the front tuck and landed on my left leg really weird and it hyperextended and i just like fell to the ground in more shock than pain, and it turns out i have a bruised tibia and im almost better now.

don't just sit around in bed because its just gunna make you more bored, get up on your crutches and go do something fun with your friends or something, its gunna make you more depressed if you just sit it bed for like 6-8weeks, go have fun, you can have fun while being hurt.

Can a broken bone that is healing hurt while its growing back?

hi i am in my 8th week of healing after breaking the fibula in my right leg and after 2 weeks of walking without crutches under doctors orders. the area of the bone is feeling sore. is this normal during bone growth?

How can I tell if someone's really a narcissist or just an alcoholic?

How can you tell if it's ol Narcy or just a boozer? In the simple answer: early childhood.NPD sets in during early childhood and Narcy begins showing behavioral difficulties very early on: violence, anger issues, no respect for authority, fails to learn personal responsibility for bad behavior, sees disciplinary actions taken to correct bad behavior as “abuse” or “controlling”. These patterns continue and only get worse, despite any and all actions taken you correct them. In early adolescence, Narcy takes teenage rebellion to new levels but is also often a social outcast as they are known as liars, trouble makers, and backstabbers to fellow classmates…but will go to extremes to fit in. His circle of friends changes frequently. This drives his fury even more…as he chases constantly but cannot attain what he seeks most. He starts finding blame as to why…blame that will fall on everyone but him.As time goes by, narcys “dating” fills with allegations of abuse, lies, cheating, etc towards partners. It's not uncommon for family to begin warning new potential partners of prior bad behaviors as the trend continues. Narcy will build a history of domestic violence accusations and while he may not hold domestic violence convictions rest assured he's had numerous restraining orders/orders of protection issued against him over the years (which he will claim was the result of blatent lies on the part of his accuser claiming he was in fact the victim in EVERY SINGLE case and with EVERY SINGLE person/accuser/abused partner. Hes a master at the Fine Art of Bullshit “self defense” claims)Narcy, by way of the mechanisms involved with NPD, has “an addictive personality” meaning they are far more likely to develop addictions than non disordered people… alcohol, drugs, sex, porn, gambling, etc. (To which he will claim either do not exist or are someone else's fault for “driving him to it”)All addicts display bad and hurtful behavior towards others and shirk personal responsibility as their addiction controls them, their behaviors, and their thoughts…just as Narcy’s NPD controls his.So the answer lies in life prior to addiction…when NPD is known to first surface…in early childhood and showing a continual, habitual, repeating pattern.NPD doesn't just “suddenly appear”…it's always been there and always caused problems. Absent this “lifelong history of issues”, you're not dealing with a true narcissist.Thank you for your question.
