I Am 16 Years Old And Weigh 132 And A Junior In High School I Wanted To Know A Good Workout For

What's a good IQ for a 14 year old?

The average IQ across the world is 100However, this question is worded wrong… IQ doesnt change based on age, so asking what’s a good IQ for a 14 y/o is the same as asking for a 4 y/o.IQ is measured based on proportion, not on age. A child that’s 4 years old is given an average IQ score of 100 if that child gets an average amount of questions right at an average rate of time. A 4 y/o child scores a 200 IQ if they answer at the average rate of an 8 y/o child.Moving past the misconception in the question. In terms of IQ there is really no good or bad. While an average IQ anywhere from 90 - 110, and an above average IQ is 110 - 130, this has almost no direct correlation to success. From 130 - 145 is gifted, while 145 - 164 is highly gifted / moderate genius. 164 - about 180 would be advanced genius. A score of 180 to 200 is very advanced genius, and 200+ is immeasurable genius.Meanwhile, any IQ below 70 is mentally retarded at a functionally damaging level. But in reality when it comes to good don’t worry about IQ.

What is an average bench press weight for a fifteen year old boy?

Crikey, this is the wrong question. Also, no one who is willing to give you a straight answer is likely to actually know. The answer is probably in the ballpark of 60 to 120 pounds if done right with proper form. But I really don’t know. Some 15 year olds I know would have trouble with 50 pounds. Others would find 75 easy. A few would be well past 100.The answer you may not want to hear is that you will never get anywhere worrying about what other people can lift. Worry about what you can lift today, and what you’ll be able to lift six months out with hard work. And especially with the bench press, which is a statistically horrible exercise for injuries, you are far more likely to destroy your ability to lift heavy things by chasing weight too aggressively. If you are going to bench press, as I suspect you will no matter what I tell you, please make sure you have your proper form rock solid. Until you’ve done it weekly for a few years, with good coaching and feedback, please don’t do anything stupid like going for 1 rep personal bests. If you have to challenge yourself, go for the most weight you can do 12 reps in. This way, an error in form or an overestimate of your ability on that day will have a much lower chance of ruining a shoulder. (Though, you can still hurt yourself, so always focus on form.)Final note: For God’s sake, don’t bench press anything heavy without proper safety equipment. Ideally a power rack or cage. I would be dead twice over if I didn’t use a rack and have the safety bars set right.

When exercising, should you do cardio before weights? Or weight training before cardio?

About 3 months ago, I would’ve told you that cardio was the most evil creature on the planet. But, after doing some research, I found the perfect way to make use of cardio BEFORE weight training. Here’s why and how.You need to warm up.You’re probably thinking, “duh Wilfredo everybody knows that.”But, I don’t mean warm up like most people warm up.I don’t mean doing all that mobility stuff that has no basis in research (stretching doesn’t work like people believe it does).I mean literally warming up. Getting your body warm and building up a sweat.A research review examined 32 studies and found that getting warm increased performance by 73 percent.Let me say it again. Getting warm before you train increases performance by a whopping 73 PERCENT!!!This is why you should do some LIGHT cardio previous to lifting weights.Put on a jacket or hat, hop on the treadmill, and walk until you start to sweat a bit. Then, take your ass to that squat rack and put in work.“Why only light cardio?”First, cardio has a high rate of injury (especially when compared to weightlifting). And the last thing you want is to sustain an injury. Now, I won’t get all science-y on you. But the muscles use different sources of energy for different tasks. The muscles use one energy source for long duration exercise like cardio. And the muscles use another energy source for short duration exercise like lifting weights.Doing significant cardio and weight lifting will harm your ability to properly do one or the other. For your muscles, doing cardio and weight lifting at the same time (*cough* crossfit) is like trying to left and right at the same time.Plus, a group of researchers found that doing a lot of cardio significantly impacted the strength building process. So, light cardio, start sweating, then lift weights. Got it?If you want some hlep on building a great training program based on science, check out my website → Wilfredo Fitness

How much weight can I lose from walking 2 miles 5 days a week for a month?

Walking 2 miles a week may help you lose some weight in the beginning.Calories burnt by walking - 5 x 30 x 5 = 750 calories. This will help lose 400 grams in a month. However the following walking for weight lose could be better optionWalking to Lose WeightWalking burns 5 calories per minute. There are 1440 minutes in 24 hours.Average calorie consumption is 2500 for a person looking to lose weight.Calories are produced during cellular metabolic process. By exercising or increasing the burning of calories we cannot increase the production of calories during cellular metabolic process substantially. We can at best expect small changes.Calories are used by vital organs and vital processes of the body AND for physical exercises and movements. So if we start spending too much calories all of sudden on exercises there will be shortfall of calories in the body. This will be made good by restricting the calories required by vital organs. So if you keep running for hours we may die in few seconds. But there are defence mechanisms in the body which ensure that we do not run that long which can kill us.Walking for 5 minutes every hour (Around 10 times in a day) will burn 5x5x10 = 250 calories in a day.Resting Metabolic Rate was 2500/1440 x 50 = 87 calories.Net Calorie loss is 250 - 87 = 163.This is less than 7% of average calories that are consumed by a person looking to lose weight. This extra burden can be shared by increase in cellular metabolic rate within few days. How do a person feels by walking for such a short period of time.More alert, full of energy etc. This is indicative of increase in Resting Metabolic Rate. That would mean there will be extra calorie burning without an exercise, if that extra burden can be shared by cellular metabolism. So if a person keeps walking he is quite likely to increase his Resting Metabolic Rate. But if a person walks for 1 or 2 hours at a time, the extra calorie burning will be 60 x 5 or 10 = 300 or 600 calories. That will be difficult to shift this extra burden on cellular metabolism. So the body will save some calories meant for vital organs. That will cause deterioration of vital organs.Walking 2 to 5 minutes every hours means sure weight loss. The chances of regaining this lost weight will also be minimum because there is increasing in Resting Metabolic Rate. So even if you stop walking you will not gain any weight.
